■This was how I took a proactive approach to managing my acne-prone skin while also addressing my anti-aging concerns this year.

■I curated a very well-rounded skincare routine for myself by incorporating:

》1. Triple Vit serum (Tjaimi's Golden Glow Serum): Vitamins A, C,and E, Aloe-Vera, and Hyaluronic acid for anti-aging, hydration, and skin texture improvement.

》2. Salicylic acid serum with witch Hazel : Effective acne treatment, exfoliant, and pore unclogger.

》3. Soothing Facial mist, built with Rose Hydrolate, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, and Chamomila Recutita and infused with salicylic acid 2%.

For optimal results, I also ensured:
■Sun protection: I use Suncut Sunscreen daily, which is a Broad-spectrum SPF 30+.

I always feel like the word "scrub" doesn't adequately capture the effect of exfoliation on the skin.

I prefer the word "Polish" because that is what my skin feels like whenever I am done with my exfoliation sessions. A skin polish is exactly what you get when you use Tjaimi scrubs.

I have heard people try to talk down the importance of scrubs / exfoliation.

But you see, when it comes to skincare, I would advise in accordance with what has worked for me over the years, and I say; "the importance of EXFOLIATION can never be underestimated"

Whether you use chemical exfoliators or natural exfoliators, the bottom line is that you need to make exfoliation a part of your skincare regimen.

Personally, I prefer the effects of natural exfoliators for my skin, and this is coupled with the fact that when it comes to DIY full body exfoliation, chemical exfoliators are simply not effective nor practical.

Listen, there is a skin quality, texture, and appearance that you will struggle to attain if you do not exfoliate. There is a sheen that your skin will be lacking.
