If not for a few wealthy individuals who occasionally fly into Ebonyi with their private jets, grasses would have completely taken over the Ebonyi International Airport.

‎This is what happens when a government prioritizes prestige projects and frivolities over the immediate needs of its people.

‎To make way for the airport, many communities were displaced by previous administrations. Sadly, a significant number of affected villagers were either inadequately compensated or not compensated at all.

‎Today, the airport remains largely underutilized while many critical sectors that directly impact the lives of ordinary citizens continue to suffer from neglect. Development should be measured not by grand projects, but by how much they improve the welfare of the people

What Arise News, Linda Ikeji Blog, Instablog, Channels TV, and other media platforms are saying today about Governor Nwifuru and his administration is exactly what many people already saw three years ago.

‎As Speaker, his performance was widely viewed as weak and unquestioning. Virtually every executive bill presented before the House was approved without proper scrutiny or accountability. The Assembly under his leadership appeared more like a rubber stamp than an independent institution meant to protect the interests of the people.

‎At the time, many believed that as the “captain of the ship,” he would steer the state toward progress. But how do you expect someone who never challenged executive excesses or demanded accountability to suddenly become a transformational leader in the same system? It was always going to be difficult.

‎Today, his media aides continue to defend the administration on Arise News and across blogs, even as many citizens complain about poor governance and lack of visible development.

‎The essence of governance is to positively impact the lives of the people. Once the people no longer feel that impact, then the purpose of leadership is defeated.
‎Yet, some people still chant “4+4” while the poor and uninformed continue to bear the consequences.

Anthropic has reportedly acquired Stainless in a deal said to be worth over $300 million. Stainless is known for converting API specifications into polished SDKs compatible with languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, and Kotlin. The company also provides the MCP server infrastructure that Anthropic uses to help Claude AI agents interact with external systems

‎The acquisition is considered significant because SDKs are essential tools developers rely on when building applications powered by artificial intelligence.

‎Stainless has become a major player in this space, supplying SDK technology for several leading AI companies, including OpenAI. Despite the acquisition, Stainless is expected to continue supporting OpenAI’s SDKs for the time being.
‎Other major tech firms, including Google, Cloudflare, and Replicate, also rely on Stainless for developer tooling.

"I can't marry a guy doing 9-5 job earning 200K, in this economy. I'm also a 9-5er but I can't date somebody with my same income bracket. You're the man of the house so it should be higher. Disrespect comes with nature. I can't know you're earning the same thing as me and, you know na...."

– A Nigerian lady opines that she cannot marry a man who works a regular 9-to-5 job earning ₦200,000 monthly, especially in the current economy.

Peter Obi’s original plan for the 2027 presidential race was NDC, not the ADC. The ADC move was only a strategy to distract the APC-led government. Full details coming in my next post.

This meeting in the picture below was on Thursday, 12th June 2025.

Ugandan authorities have detained 62 Nigerian nationals over alleged immigration and regulatory violations, including running a church without proper authorization.

‎According to a statement released on Wednesday by the Uganda National Citizenship and Immigration Control, the arrests were carried out after officials received credible intelligence about a group of foreigners engaging in unauthorized religious activities.

‎The agency said the individuals were found to be residing and working in Uganda without valid documentation, in breach of the country’s immigration laws.
‎Investigations revealed that the group had been operating a church despite lacking the necessary work permits and legal clearance required for such activities. Authorities described the operation as illegal and noted that enforcement actions were taken to ensure compliance with national regulations governing foreign nationals.

‎The detained Nigerians are currently in custody as immigration officials continue their inquiries. The agency added that appropriate legal measures would follow, which may include prosecution, deportation, or other sanctions depending on the outcome of ongoing investigations.

Marketing yourself in a political contest isn’t optional—it’s the difference between being known and being ignored. Even the most competent candidate can lose if people don’t understand who they are or why they matter.

‎First, elections are about visibility. Voters can’t support someone they don’t recognize. Personal marketing helps you build awareness—your name, face, and message become familiar long before election day.

‎Second, it shapes perception. People rarely have time to deeply study every candidate, so they rely on impressions. How you present yourself—your story, values, and communication style—defines whether voters see you as credible, relatable, or trustworthy.

‎It also helps you control your narrative. In politics, if you don’t define yourself, opponents will do it for you. Strategic self-marketing lets you highlight your strengths, address weaknesses, and set the agenda around your candidacy.

‎Another key point is connection. Voters don’t just choose policies; they choose people. When you market yourself effectively, you create emotional and cultural alignment—people feel like you understand them or represent their interests.

‎Finally, it drives mobilization. Recognition and trust translate into action—votes, donations, and grassroots support. Without strong self-marketing, even a good candidate struggles to turn support into real electoral results.

‎What Atiku and Rotimi Amaechi have done this week was just selling themselves to the electorates. You don't expect any of them to come on national TV to give credit to another person. They must antagonize each other to sail through the mucky water. Behind the scene, they know what they want to achieve and the strategies to adopt to unseat the incumbent.

Former ADC Deputy National Chairman, Nafiu Bala Gombe, has reportedly fallen out of favour with his APC-backed sponsors over allegations of the non-disbursement of his second-phase payout and their failure to renew his hotel suite.

Nafiu Bala Gombe is reportedly no longer in the good books of the APC chieftains backing his activities. This follows a critical assessment allegedly conducted by his sponsors regarding his assignment to undermine the main opposition party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Reports indicate that his principal backers at the presidency were unhappy with ADC’s growing popularity, especially in the North, as well as his failure to stop the party from conducting its congresses and its unprecedentedly successful national convention. His sponsors reportedly decided to discontinue the failed project, a development that left Nafiu Bala Gombe angry and allegedly threatening to apologise to ADC leaders and expose those who sponsored him.

There’s another angle to the Blord and VDM conflict that many people seem to be overlooking.

‎When this issue first started on social media, both parties were actively trading insults and throwing jabs at each other.

At some point, Blord escalated things by sharing VDM’s núde pictures and videos, even going as far as calling him a pornstar—all in an apparent attempt to provoke him.

‎That single move triggered a surprising reaction. VDM reportedly went on to record new explicit videos and sent them directly to Blord via Instagram. Rather than keeping those private, Blord allegedly created a website where he uploaded the content for public viewing, claiming it was to show Nigerians “who VDM really is.”

‎As expected, many Nigerians flocked to the site, driving massive traffic. Blord even stated that the platform experienced high engagement due to the volume of viewers. However, once VDM realized the consequences of sharing such content, he stopped sending any further videos.

‎It’s clear that VDM wasn’t pleased with how things played out. Since then, it appears he has been waiting for the right opportunity to respond—and the issue of his image being used for advertisements may have provided that opening.

‎At its core, this conflict may not just be about the use of VDM’s image for ads. It seems more like a buildup of unresolved tension and resentment from past events now coming to the surface.
