I honestly don’t understand why some women are so quick to believe everything they see on social media.

From the very beginning, I doubted Blessing CEO’s cancer story. I cared for my dad who battled stage 4 prostate cancer, so I know what a patient in that condition looks like. The signs were clear to me that something wasn’t right.

But people rushed to show sympathy, and some even went as far as sending her money. When I pointed out under a post that it might not be true, I was heavily in$ulted. Some even went as far as wishing me the same fate.

Now, the truth is coming out, and it’s obvious not everything we see online is real.

This is the same pattern we see when some women come online with one-sided stories about failed marriages. Many people immediately take sides without asking questions, and anyone who tries to think critically gets att@cked.

Let’s learn to pause, think, and verify before reacting. Not everything deserves blind support. Sometimes, we just need to use our brains a little more.

A Nigerian feminist’s definition of a “good man” has been d@ngerously watered down.

To them, a good man is one who tolerates nonsense just to prove he is loving.
A good man is one who lets a woman have her way all the time while he suppresses his own standards.
A good man is someone who turns a blind eye to bad behaviour and calls it understanding.
A good man is a man who rewards irresponsibility with commitment.
A good man is defined by how much disrespect he can endure.
He is pushover and is he afraid to walk away when necessary.

But here’s the irony: when their own brothers exhibit these same traits, the narrative suddenly changes. Then it becomes, “his wife has b£witched him.”

A real good man has standards, boundaries, and self-respect.
He corrects, he leads, and he holds people accountable including the woman he chooses to be with.
He supports what is right, not what is convenient.
He chooses peace, but not at the cost of his dignity.

Because at the end of the day, a man who cannot command respect is a simp and will always be taken for granted no matter how “good” he tries to be.

Nothing I will not hear
So a man told me he cannot marry a girl outside of his hometown. Curious to know why, I asked and I got the most shocking response.
He said he doesn't have money to spend on transportation each time he or the said girl wants to visit her father's house.
I laugh tire 🤣🤣
So because of transport money, he'd rather miss a good girl God has ordained for him if the girl isn't for his Hometown.
And he meant every bit of what he said.

Those Catholic women campaigning for the “keep right” blouse rule to be changed,my question is: are you joining the organisation to showcase luxury fabrics, or to serve God? Because the comparison honestly doesn’t make sense.

Allow Anglicans to do their thing while we do ours. It’s perfectly fine to admire them, but the problem starts when you begin to compare and try to replicate everything.

Cry from now till tomorrow if you like,the rule will still stand. It’s a uniform, not an asoebi that you sew however you please.

Most of you wear uniforms with a particular style at your workplace and wouldn’t dare challenge your bosses to sow it however you like. But when it comes to church matters, suddenly everyone has an opinion.

If you’re not comfortable with the CWO uniform, you’re free to join the Anglican Church after all, it’s a wonderful church too.

Stop trying to pressure leaders into bending rules for personal preferences.

Life no hard.

P.S.: This was me during my child’s dedication, proudly rocking our diocesan wear. As a member, you’re expected to wear your uniform on such occasions and I gladly adhered to it. No one is forcing anyone. If you don’t like it, you’re free to leave the organisation. There are plenty of people willing to join. In my parish alone, we have over 400 active CWO members.

In a world where mothers are often celebrated more, many people overlook the power of a father’s blessing.

The Bible makes it clear that a father’s words are not ordinary they are spiritual, weighty, and generational.
When Isaac blessed Jacob, he said, “I have blessed him and indeed he will be blessed” (Genesis 27:33). That blessing could not be reversed.

Even before that, Jacob went as far as securing his brother Esau’s birthright and blessing because he understood its value.

When Jacob grew old, he also gathered his sons and spoke into their futures (Genesis 49). He blessed the sons of Joseph, shaping generations to come. These were not just words they were destiny declarations.

From Noah to Abraham, down to Isaac and Jacob, the pattern remains the same: a father’s blessing carries power that transcends time.

So if your father is still alive, don’t take it for granted. Honor him. Appreciate him. Sit with him. Ask him to speak over your life.

One sincere blessing from a father can echo through your life in ways you may never fully understand.
