Project-4 Lab Initiative is a social enterprise bridging the gap between the gap in digital literacy in rural and low-income communities.

For millions of young people in Nigeria, the challenge is no longer whether technology will shape the future, but whether they will be prepared to participate in it.

Across many underserved communities, digital access remains deeply unequal. Nearly 50% of Nigerians still lack basic digital literacy skills, while many rural communities continue to face limited electricity, inadequate infrastructure, and little to no access to computers or digital learning resources. For countless students, technology is something they hear about, not something they experience.

At Project-4 Lab, we believe opportunity should not be determined by geography or background. Rather than waiting for perfect infrastructure, we bring practical digital skills training directly to secondary schools in grassroot communities, creating access where it has long been absent.

We train students, many of whom had never used a computer before that moment. Beyond technical exposure, these sessions introduce students to new possibilities for learning, employment, innovation, and participation in an increasingly digital world.

But this is only the beginning.

As we impact these students, we are seeking partners, sponsors, and collaborators who believe every child deserves a fair opportunity to thrive in the digital age. Together, we can expand access, equip more students with foundational digital skills, and build sustainable pathways to opportunity for underserved communities across Nigeria.

In many classrooms, “computer class” still means theory.

No hands-on learning. Students leave with no idea how any of it connects to the real world.

That’s the gap we stepped into.

213 students reached across two states in one year. And we’re just getting started.

Project-4 Lab is back with a stronger model and a renewed commitment to equipping secondary school students and teachers with the digital skills that matter.

Swipe to see the journey so far and what we’re building next.

Follow along.

Access to education shouldn’t be a privilege.
It should be a foundation for every child, everywhere.

Today, we’re reminded that learning creates opportunity and opportunity changes lives.

Earlier this month, we wrapped up Phase 2 of our Basic Digital Skills Accelerator Program at OSMA International School in Ogun state, and it was nothing short of AMAZING!

We had the opportunity to train 60 enthusiastic students and ignited their curiosity about digital technology. From hands-on training sessions to inspiring conversations about career prospects and opportunities, these brilliant students showed us just how much potential they hold.

The students’ active participation and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring, highlighting the importance of equipping every child with the power of digital literacy.

Shoutout to our incredible volunteers and partners who made this possible—you’re the real MVPs! 🏆 Together, we’re bridging the gap in digital literacy and opening doors to endless opportunities.

This is just the beginning! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey to empower young learners and create a space where they can confidently embrace opportunities in STEM and the digital world at large.

During our visit to OSMA International School in Ayetoro, Ogun state, we felt the students’ enthusiasm for learning.

For many of the students, “digital skills” felt like something distant, something reserved for those with more resources. But, as one student said, “I never knew I could use a smartphone as a tool for learning, not just for social media!”

In this first phase of the project, we introduced students to the power of digital literacy, while also showing them that with a smartphone, they can access knowledge, build new skills, and open doors to opportunities.

Through this session, 48 students began to see technology differently—not as a luxury, but as a pathway to growth and possibility. And this is just the beginning of our mission to make digital literacy accessible to all!

Many thanks to for their contributions in making this possible.

On Friday, November 8, we are gearing for the Phase 2 of our Basic Digital Skills Accelerator Program.

Stay tuned!

Happy International Day of the Girl Child!

Today, we celebrate the limitless potential of every girl around the world. The International Day of the Girl Child reminds us of both the strides we've made and the work still ahead to ensure a brighter future for all girls.

At Project-4 Lab, we believe that every girl has the right to quality education and the opportunity to thrive. It’s not just about teaching skills; it’s about building the foundation upon which dreams can grow and futures can flourish.

To every girl: your dreams are valid, and your voice matters. You have the power to shape your future and influence the world around you. Keep speaking up, keep dreaming big, and never doubt your worth.

Together, let’s continue to champion the rights of girls everywhere and create a legacy of empowered, compassionate women ready to make a difference.
