Tokyo 2020 has finally come to an end.
Despite the travails and difficulty the pandemic posed, the much awaited Olympics has finally been concluded thanks to the medical staff.

Congratulations to those who took home laurels and even to those who didn't. They all represented themselves and their nations very well.

We hope to see everyone back in Eugene 2022 for the worlds.

Elaine Thompson Herah continues her winning streak as she stormed to the win in the women's 100m at the meeting in 10.65s.

Dina Asher Smith who seems to be back in form took second spot in 10.87s a season's best performance for the British woman while Swiss champion Ajla Del ponte came through for third in 10.93s

At the Paris Diamond league, Elaine Thompson stormed to the win in a new meeting record of 10.72s.

Shericka Jackson took second in 10.97s while Dina Asher Smith came third in 11.06s.

In the men's 200m at the , Kenneth Bednarek took the win in 19.65s(+3.2m/s).

Fred Kerley came second in 19.77s while Steven Gardiner took third spot in 20.11s.

Femke Bol ran away from the rest of the field in the women's 400mH at the returning a time of 53.05s while Shamier Little took second in 53.78s.

Anna Ryzkhova came third in 54.32s while Dalilah Mohammed took fourth position in 54.50s

Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce held off a fast finishing Elaine Thompson for the win in the women's 100m at the clocking a new personal best of 10.60s while the latter returned a 10.64s.

Shericka Jackson came through for third in 10.92s.

A 1-2-3 finish for the Jamaicans for the third time this year.

Olympic silver medalist Marileidy Paulino took the win in the women's 400m at the in 50.40s.

Sada Williams of Barbados came second in 50.77s while Quanera Hayes finished strongly for third position in 51.06s.
