Happy New Year y'all.
Finally calling this one finished Probably put almost 50 hours into this piece.
The story actually changed a lot while I was working on it. It started as just a standard standoff, but adding the "No Smoking" sign in the back really changed the whole mood for me. I love the idea that this guy is just completely unbothered while a massive minotaur is breathing down his neck over a house rule.
I was super inspired by one of Andrea Piparo’s Illustrations and wanted to try my hand at that warm, cinematic lighting. Spent way too much time obsessing over the lantern glow and the smoke, but I’m happy with how the atmosphere turned out.
