It has been a week-long awareness on
a group of eye diseases that gradually damage the optic nerve (the nerve that carries visual signals from the eye to the brain where they are processed into the images we see) and can lead to irreversible vision loss if not detected early.
As we draw the curtains on the week-long Awareness, let us remember that glaucoma remains the silent thief of sight, often causing irreversible vision loss before symptoms appear.π°
The fight against preventable blindness continues beyond this week.
At we request that you protect your sight, schedule a comprehensive eye examination and encourage others to do the same.π§π§

Womenβs Dayπ
Today, AdieUtabu Development Foundation (ADF) celebrates the strength and resilience of women, especially those living in fragile and underserved communities.

continues to make meaningful progress through the NURTURE Project, bringing hope and support to mothers and children in fragile communities.βοΈ
The distribution of essential food supplements to under-five children remains a critical step in addressing malnutrition within IDP settlements.
Through our Mother-to-Mother Support Group meetings, a key component of the intervention, mothers are becoming more inquisitive, sharing experiences, and gaining the right knowledge to support the healthy growth of their children.
Together, we are nurturing healthier futures, one child, one household, and one community at a time. π
Happy Blessed New month of February to everyone in the ADF's family. May our struggles never be in vain. Congratulations ππ to us

ADF Orientation for intending JAMBites

Free Jamb Registration Orientation Meetingπ’π’π’π’
Over the weekend, precisely, 27th Dec. 2025, there was an orientation meeting for the intending JAMBites as planned.ππππ
Key information was shared with them , including, the choices they're making in selecting their preferred courses of study, subjects combination and institutions of choice. They were furtherinformed about the recent JAMB and Ministry of Education age and other regulations.
It was also a great privilege for the intending applicants to ask relevant questions and get clarity about their choices and it shaped their focus to readjust their decisions to match with the information they gathered during the meeting.
It's pleasing to note that the attendees were super excited as it was very interactive and educating to them.
Many thanks to our exceptional facilitators/volunteers for holding a productive and a successful session.ππππ
