MYTH vs FACT

Many don’t believe solar energy can power big cities but this is a myth.

Solar grids are already powering different parts of Nigeria and we can continue this path to further keep our climate in good condition.

It’s all Green, emphasizing the importance of Nature to not just Nigeria but the world at large.

Let’s all commit to the good work. Happy New Month from us.

Starting September with Partnership for Impact!

Earlier today, the Board of climXus (Climate and Us) was warmly hosted by Consultants & Techies for the official signing of a of Understanding (MoU) to solidify our partnership.

This collaboration marks a new chapter in our journey, where technology meets climate action — combining innovation, youth-driven leadership, and community-focused solutions to tackle some of the most pressing climate challenges of our time.

Together, we will:
✅ Harness and technology to amplify climate solutions.
✅ Build capacity for young people to become drivers of sustainability.
✅ Co-create impactful projects that strengthen resilience in vulnerable communities.

At ClimXus, we believe partnerships like this are key to achieving transformational change. This MoU is not just a document; it’s a commitment to a shared vision of a greener, smarter, and more sustainable Africa.

A big thank you to the Dahel team for their hospitality and dedication. We look forward to an impactful journey ahead!

In July, we hosted an impactful ClimXus - (Climate and Us) Monthly Webinar on the theme “AI Against Plastic: Rethinking Pollution with Technology.”

The session was nothing short of inspiring — from exploring how artificial intelligence can transform waste management, to highlighting community-driven solutions that empower young people in Africa to lead climate action.

✔️ The discussions reinforced our belief that technology, when combined with grassroots advocacy, has the power to create lasting solutions to plastic pollution.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guest speakers — ABUTU ISAAC, Irelis Valle, Damilola Olayiwola, and our partners at EcoNetwork — for their insights, expertise, and passion.

We are proud to keep creating platforms where youth voices drive conversations that matter.

🌍 World Environment Day Celebration at G-Love Academy on the 5th of June 2025

On June 5th, in honor of World Environment Day, our ClimXus FCT Coordinator and her team visited G-Love Academy, a Science and Technology-based school in Abuja, to engage and inspire the next generation of climate champions.

📚 Students were introduced to climate change education and taught how they can be strong advocates for a greener future right from their classrooms and communities.

🎁 The event featured fun and interactive sessions including:

A powerful talk on the climate crisis and the role of young people

A Q&A session where students shared brilliant answers about environmental issues

Gifts of pens and an eco-friendly basket to support their learning

💚 The smiles, curiosity, and enthusiasm from the students remind us that the fight for our planet starts with education and empowerment.

At ClimXus, we believe no one is too small to make a difference. Let’s raise a generation that speaks for the Earth.
