"I was just a primary school teacher earning about N60,000 when I decided to marry my wife.

A few months before our wedding, she got a job in another state, a very good and well-paying job.

From that money, I gave her an allowance for her upkeep and took care of everything she needed.

She never complained or made me feel bad for not working or earning money.

A few months later, through her connections, she helped me secure a well-paying job, one that even paid more than hers. From there, I was able to start a business, and that was how our lives changed.

Today, I don’t just lead as a husband, I also lead financially 😆

But all of this happened because I didn’t let my ego get in the way.

I didn’t allow the cultural belief that "the wife must follow the husband" to stop me from making the best decision for our future.

I didn’t allow pride to take over, I helped at home since I had the time.

And, indeed, I married a good wife who never disrespected me just because she earned more."

How do Snakes Get into Toilets and why?

A Netizens wrote "God saved me from a dàngerous h0rrible looking cobra yesterday night in my toilet Seat(WC) here in Abraka delta state

It was around 7.34pm when wanted to use the toilet (p*e) I decided to use my touch light to view the sink before action,i saw a black stuff below the water in the toilet seat and I was trying to identify what it could be because I used the toilet some hours ago. Lo and behold it was a horrible looking cobra. I called the care taker of the hostel where I live, he came and confirmed it.The snake was so big that we couldn't devised another good means to k11ll it than the use of Gun🔫 .

For more than 2hrs the snake was there until we called the attention of the vigilante group and finally it was k11led with the aid of a gûn.

Please always make sure you look very well before using your toilet. I couldn't believe how it entered but verifications say it came from the toilet suck away pit."

Each time I see posts like this, am always wondering why snakes are very attacked to toilets? How do they find their ways into it?
I'm basically curious and will like to know how this can be prevented.

I watched a news report on Tv about a 10 year old boy who committed su***de by hanging last week. Sources said he came back from school that fateful day and didn’t accompany his siblings to go see their mom like they always do.

By the time his mom and siblings got back home in the evening , they found him hanging inside the toilet, already dead.

A few people were interviewed and some said on that same day, the 10 year old had stolen money in school and his teacher had promised to tell his mom. So they were speculations that the young man might have committed su***de because he was scared his mom was going to punish him for stealing.

If that is truly the reason why he did such , is it wrong to discipline a child when he/she does something wrong? Was the mom always harsh when punishing her children? What is the best way to discipline a child without instilling fear in them?
