We're delighted to share that the first quarter of 2026 came with some amazing partnership records as the Ecosystem Partner for Youth Opportunity Summit, Uyo powered by the Inspire for Impact Initiative and the The Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Led by the Technical Adviser to the Vice President of Nigeria, Hajia Hauwa Liman, which was partly executed at the Uyo Window on America, UniUyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

It was an interesting delivery with core precautions without any loophole.

We are saying a great "Thank You" to all the stakeholders involved in the success of project.

Thank you to our Founder, Chibuike Egbujiem for going out of his way to make all of these possible for the empowerment of Young Entrepreneurs!

At the just concluded Youth Opportunity Summit, Uyo, where Sound Mind Buildup functioned as an Ecosystem Partner for the Indigenous Business Pitching Competition having three (3) Young Entrepreneurs won from the N1.8m Grant.

The event was a very interesting and transformative experience that brought lots of information to the table to propel over 1,000 youth population into action to explore the different industries.

Sound Mind Buildup is currently in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as an Ecosystem Partner responsible for the Business Pitching Competition segment of the in collaboration with and Akwa Ibom State Government, led by the Technical Adviser to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In 2024 according to the CBN, Nigeria received $20.93B in diaspora remittances, (that's about N30B) but unfortunately these funds went into household consumables and not structured business investments.

So, today our Founder had a great time with Emmanuel Bisong and Coco on the African Diaspora Channel in collaboration with CRBC focusing on Business and Investment Opportunities in Cross River State for those in the Diaspora.

In the last 7 days, Sound Mind Buildup (Nigeria /USA) has collaborated with the US Department of State, IREX, Design Library (USA), Estrogin Limited (Nigeria/USA) and American Corner, Calabar to execute The Design Project 2025, a Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Exchange Program in the city of Calabar.

We had over 70 Participants who learnt Design Thinking, Product Design, 3D Printing and Modeling, Drone Technology, Block chain and Entrepreneurship: Building to Start any venture in Nigeria.
