I have just been embarrassed by a shop owner 😥💔

I have been feeling sick since yesterday so I couldn't eat what was cooked for us here and the woman who prepares our meal travelled to her village yesterday evening to see her children. I had to take tea with bread last night and sleep.
I woke up this morning, I wasn't feeling myself at all....I have been indoor fiddling with my phone since I woke up. Around 7:06pm, I took 1k and step out in search of a restaurant to eat. After a long walk, I finally saw a small 'FOOD IS READY' sign post so I branch the place, sat down and beakon on the sales girl to bring a plate of Oha soup with fufu for me. While waiting, I dipped my hand into my pocket to bring out the money, lo and behold the 1k was nowhere to be found. I had to apologize to her for the stress and told her to pour the food back into the pot, explaining that I just misplaced the money I wanted using to pay for the food😥 and they don't accept transfer (reasons best known to them).

I trekked back home, took my last 400naira (two pieces of 200 naira note) and head to a supermarket close to my house. On getting there, I told the sales girl to give me a bottle of Pepsi (the one of N250) and two tom tom sweets - N50 and handed the N400 to her. This girl brought the Pepsi and the sweet with 500 naira as my balance. I called her, while trying to explain to her that the balance she gave me was too much, this girl didn't even allow me to finish talking, she started shouting at me and calling her boss s to come and ask me what I'm saying. The shop owner didn't even listen to me too, he just started shouting "this is how u people behave, all these Akwa Ibom people. You want to steal from this small girl. She has given you your complete balance...why not go.... You are here talking nonsense please get out of our shop....."🥹

I was embarrassed, every other customer that came to buy started murmuring.... nobody wanted to hear me out.
