..I'll always say, this your skin ain't a sponge, it doesn't just soak up whatever you put on it, your skin is actually a barrier😌. If you know this, you'd be more conscious of caring for your skin from within. You can start small, you don't even necessarily need to blend it sef🙄...just be very conscious of taking fruits and vegetables. If you have dark spot, lick oranges often, if you have dry skin, take water melon often, if your skin colour is dull, take carrots....etc
