You know what; I am not going to lie, it's stressful at times, trying to balance your spiritual life, academics, and also keeping tabs on friendship. But you know what, it gets easier if you ask God for help.

God help me, I'm feeling lost again today. Put me back on track and show me the path you want me to take. Amen.🙏🙌🙌

Today's devotion talked about GUARDING ONES HEART AGAINST LUSTFUL THOUGHT. As I was meditating on it through the understanding of the HOLY SPIRIT, I realized that. " *it's what we behold, we become*. But I have a question though:Typically, In a world were technology keeps advancing, and social media is the major tool that causes lustful desires and thought.
What can we Youths do to tame it?
Or How can we discipline ourselves?.
Here is my Mentor's response: We will always see things too.But it's our responsibility to TRAIN our heart not to THINK IT THROUGH. if any lustful thought drops on your mind( the Battlefield for God and devil), it is your responsibility to take it off IMMEDIATELY
The best way to treat lust is to SPEAK OUT
In what sense?
When the thought comes, speak the scriptures, prayer in tongues often, sing spiritual songs*

Sruggles Of A Christian Teenager (Part Two)
YOUR MINDSET
I was listening to an interesting conversation this afternoon from a friend of mine, who was indulging in a therapeutic session with someone. She asked the person what was going on with him, and why has he been moody all day, and he said "He doesnt feel needed and wanted, he also said people pay less attention to him, because he has nothing to offer. The last thing she said he told her caught my attention; "he said he had been depressed before and anytime he feels thay way he listens to music or he drinks till he compleletly blacked out". His statement really caught my attention and i was really amased. My friend then responded with this;

She said "Most times people fall into depression easily due to their MINDSET. They get so lost in their own personal thought and start imagining things that are not real, they feel they arent good enough because they havent achieved certain goals and most especially they feel left behind. Imagine a 13 year old boy trying to achieve what a 23 yrs old man is still struggling to achieve. Don't get me wrong,if you know what you want and you have the brains for it, go for it. I am not trying to discourage you neither am i trying to encourage you to be lazy. I'm just saying most teens are trying so hard to be succssful by all means, negelecting the workload, responsibilities, difficulties and dedication it requires. Moreover, the bible says "A ideal hand is the devils workshop".
Whereas, not everyone can cope with the stress and not everyone has that priviledge,that's why as teens we need to develop our mindsets and grow more intimately with God. 2Corinthians 10;5 says "CASTING DOWN ALL IMAGINATIONS, AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTED ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, AND BRINGING INTO CAPTIVITY EVERY THOUGHT TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST".
So, BE PRODUCTIVE, and MAXIMISE YOUR TIME ACCURATELY. DO THINGS THAT ARE WITHIN YOUR CAPACITY and most importantly, DON'T GET PRESSURED, KEEP YOUR HEAD STRAIGHT. EVERYTHING WILL EVENTUALLY WORK OUT.

STRUGGLES OF A CHRISTIAN TEEGENAER
PROLOGUE
Long ago, there was a little teenage girl born into a christian family. Her family was the best ever, they loved God and served God with all they had,regardless of the troubles, insults, disgrace, embarrasment and difficulties they faced, they didnt allow it to shake them at all, instead they got more devoted to God and continued to purse their goals. But as you know, every family can't be totally perfect, they all had their flaws.
One faithful morning, when this little girl was about living for school, she overheard her parents arguing on a particular matter. She thought it was normal and decided not to pay much attention to it as she left for school. On her way to school,the triggering argument of her parents kept reocurring in her mind and she kept pondering on it. She was so lost in thought that she forgot she was already at the school gate. Her close friend who was watching her decided to call her into the gate which brought her back to her consciouness which made she forget about it completly. Meanwhile her parents were still having a hot arguement at home.

Let me give you a glipse of the arguement;
Wife speaking: "Adam how could you do this to me, after been married for 5 years with 2 children, how could you cheat on me with our choir mistress?
Adam speaking: " Where is this oblivios rumor coming from? who told you i am cheating on you? This shows that you disregard me as a prophet of God, because if you regard me as your partner and as a anointed man of God, you won't be having this allegations towards me.
Wife continues speaking: " Hmm, i won't fall for your deceitful word again, because i have been keeping quiet does not mean i am stupid, i have my eyes on you. Why did you think Jesus said wives are their husband helpmate, because he knows that if there isnt anyone watching over them, guiding their steps and every actions, they will fall.
Adam speaking: "So you are preaching to me now, right? Listen woman, i don't have time for this, i have to go to work? ( He storms out of the house.)

School closed and she was on her way back home accompanied with her friends,who kept her entertained with alot of gossip till she got home. At home, she met her mom in the kitchen cooking and decided to give her a helping hand, but she noticed her mom facial expression being sad and decided to ask her what was troubling her. Immediately she asked, Her mom started crying and explained the whole scenario to her. As a teenager she encouraged her mom that all will be well and that it was just a season that would pass by and that the enemies are trying to distract them from the blessing that God was preparing for them. With those few words of encouragement from her daughter, her spirit was lifted and she quickly put on a smile. Days, Months, and Years went by, and they still had argument, but this time it was beginning to get into the teenage girl subconscious mind. and she gradually started deviating from God, due to the fact that, she was always seeing her parents in that state, and she felt like God wasn't with her family anymore. Apart from all this scenario, the family were still serving God as usual but their faith was degrading.

In a generation were teenagers are growing inquisitive about the world, wanting to explore and try things out. Which includes; What they want to become in the future? What work they want to do? What business they want to venture in? Who they want to get married to? and their career. They need to be properly supervised, well trained, the most important part is well taught "The Word Of God". You see, this is the most vital role of every parents who wants their children to have a blessed future, but if their families, most especially the parents get too busy with their own personal life and forget their most important job (their children), then this becomes a issue.
Dont get confused i am still talking about the STRUGGLES OF A CHRISTIAN TEENAGER.But i want you my dearest readers to have an understanding of what this is all about.

Better Days.
There is going to be a time where we will all look back at our shortcomings and realize we are victorious ✨. You might not have achieved your dreams, but you can at least testify of growth.You are no longer at the same position you were before.
You've improved,😌
You've grown🫢
You aren't stagnant. 😊I'm saying this because Better Days are nearer than you think. Don't stop being productive.

CASTING DOWN ALL IMAGINATIONS
The Mind is divided into two;
*. The Logic Part.
* The Imagination Part.
✓You cannot create anything on earth that has not passed through your imagination
✓ God seeks to posses your mind and the devil seeks to posses your mind, But whosoever succeed will determine your life.

PRESSURE
In a country were the government doesn't really care about the future of the teenages talkless about the future of the world ( Youths) They have to struggle and make ends meet themselves, especially those who are underprivileged to education. They end up getting mislead by the world, those who don't have a future but want to destroy the future of others.
PRESSURE, whether internal or external is also part of the struggles a teenager must overcome. The only way you can escape this is by having a determined heart to do what is right at all times, with or without guidance
The ability of you to choose the right path for yourself means a lot. You can be educated , well trained, have a good background financially stable and still fall a victim of pressure. So brace yourself my dear teens, you are in for alot.
