This cannot be left unsaid!

We can't continue like this, we just have to do what we need to do once and never again so that we can have our time to face what's facing us.

We remember those who couldn't make it back to base on 15th of every January and often say "they paid the supreme price with their precious lives" as though it was desirable. What then are the dividends of the prices they paid??? (this aches my heart). Hmm, I cant even put my thoughts together in words.

I wonder if there is a golden barracks in heaven where my bloothers will live to reap and enjoy the fruits of their labour forever without having to fight or die again.
I wonder if their lovely wedded spouses and wonderful children would join there parents to once again enjoy family togetherness.
I really can't find answers to why these national icon would just be ripped off the land they swore tak protect?
How could they possibly be murdered in cold blood by the same people they go all they ways to protect?
How do we explain to a pregnant 23yrr old pretty damsel and pacify her that her lovjng husband will not come back home?
If it is possible God, please don't judge any Soldier just grant them automatic Paradise as a reward for their selfless, patriotism and loyalty to our great nation.

My heart bleeds each time I hear "fallen heroes" because it's only by God's grace that I am not one, He alone saw me through the valley of the shadow of death where I feared all evil and watched my buddies fell by my sides as they were taking a nap as if I should just waking then up and continue to advance but our numbers ended up reducing. I care less about the casualties on the enemies' part since that's what they want but a Soldier's life lost is a national loss.

I sure remember vibrant young men like Dada, Joseph, Mustapha, David, Segun, Okechuwu and others whose precious lives were cut short like...it wasn't anything special that I wasn't killed too cos at some points I saw nothing to live for when my buddies fell right by my side like over ripe fruits.
We all embarked on journies of no return and it's now that I'm just realizing that, I returned not knowing who did not.

I wondered what guarantees existence in environments where all you hear day and night is either IED explosions, su***de bombings, ambushes, attacks, RED alert or constant threats in extremely unfavourable grounds.
If all we hear every 15th of January is "remembering our fallen heroes" and their families would be neglected few days after until another year again then, we need God.

The only and best way to celebrate our colleagues in the world beyond is to make their families have the best of human treatments particularly in the basic areas of shelter for the family and education for the children.

Too much to say but the agony in my heart hurts even to the brain.

You all are physically gone, still live in our hearts and can never be forgotten.
I salute you guys, I wish I am so rich to reach out to your most respected families and treat them all like mine so that they can only bear the loss of losing you and not additional pains of facing harder lifestyle without husband to the lovely beautiful wife and father to the children.

If truly prayers work for the deads, REST IN PEACE and if it doesn't, I will reach out to your families in my own little ways. What more can I say or do than to continue trading my sorrows?

And for those still in the theatre of war or any internal/external peace keeping/support operations, be assured of my prayers and always hope that your struggles shall never be in vain.
Go well, fight hard under the Rule Of Law, spare and protect those who deserve life and let those who hunt you perish like plaque.
