Continuation
After the cake had completely cooled by 8pm, I began frosting and adding the finishing design details 👌.

By a little past 9pm, I was done decorating. I then placed the cake in my mini photo studio and took some beautiful shots for advertisement that one is important 😆 this is the lovely cake you’re seeing below.

Roughly I spent 8 hours plus to achieve this.

Around 6am on Wednesday, I sent a message to the client informing her that her cake was ready and that pickup should be 7am, as I had plantain chips deliveries scheduled 😀.

At Midesavour, meeting up with client orders is always our target. 7am I'm waiting for my client, she called and said Mide I will come by 9am or 10am.

E joor I'm out for my deliveries.

In between a returning client deserves a returning gift I added a pouch of our chips to her order as thank you for returning 😊.

Around 1pm yesterday, while I was busy packing a client’s order of plantain chips, I received a WhatsApp call, but I missed it.

When I checked my WhatsApp  after, I saw a message from a returning client, Mide, can I get a birthday cake for tomorrow (Wednesday)?

Midesavour:Yes, what time tomorrow?

Returning client:8am is that time possible?

Midesavour:You can pick it up by 7am.
I’ll need to deliver some orders by 10 am.

Returning client: let  make payment.

Thankfully, I got the alert. Even the Nigerian network decided to cooperate 😄
I immediately headed to my baking studio to start preparations.

By past 2pm, the batter was already in the oven, and at 3:40 p.m., the cake was perfectly baked.
I placed it on a rack to cool, getting it ready for frosting.

To be cont.....

Both pictures show plantain chips one is made from ripe plantain and the other from unripe plantain.

The golden reddish-brown chips are from ripe plantains, while the lighter colored ones are from unripe plantains.

Both are perfectly safe and enjoyable for both adults and children. Your preference depends on your taste buds.

If you enjoy a sweeter, crunchier snack, go for the ripe plantain chips. If you prefer a milder, less sweet taste especially for a more subtle flavor then the unripe plantain chips are a great choice, particularly for older individuals.

All spices and natural 😍

Well Detailed Traditional Cake Design and Its Meaning

This beautifully crafted traditional cake design is more than just a cake it is a
symbol of love, culture, faith, and the journey of marriage. Every detail on the cake is thoughtfully incorporated to tell a unique story about the couple and the life they are about to build together.

The rich chocolate colour of the cake represents depth, strength, and endurance. Just like the colour, it signifies a marriage that is solid, resilient, and built to last through all seasons, growing stronger and sweeter even into old age.

The red beads are a striking element that reflects the couple cultural heritage. In African traditions, red beads symbolize royalty, beauty, unity, and identity. On this cake, they represent the pride and honour of the couple’s tribes, celebrating where they come from and the merging of two families into one.

The cup of palm wine is a  traditional symbol. Palm wine is known for its natural sweetness and purity, often used in engagement and marriage rites. Here, it signifies a union filled with sweetness, good health, and authenticity, reminding the couple to keep their love natural, refreshing, and full of life.
The fruits on the cake symbolize fruitfulness and abundance. They represent a marriage that will be blessed with growth, productivity, and prosperity in all areas such as love, family, and purpose. It is a declaration of a life that will bear good and lasting results.
The book, representing the Holy Bible, speaks of the couple’s Christian faith. It signifies that their union is built on God’s word, guided by His principles, and covered by His grace. It reflects a commitment to walk together in faith, allowing spiritual values to shape their marriage journey.

In a nutshell
This traditional cake is not just designed for beauty but for meaning. Every element tells a story of love that endures, culture that is honoured, sweetness that is preserved, blessings that abound, and faith that leads.
It is truly a masterpiece that celebrates not just a wedding but a lifelong covenant.
