1. We Assume Instead of Validating
Too often, we write wrong stories in our minds and judge people based on them.

• Someone doesn’t pick up our calls we assume they’re avoiding us.

• Someone doesn’t give us money we assume they’re stingy or wicked.

• Someone doesn’t visit, call, or hang out like before we assume they no longer care.

In doing this, we often sin in our hearts judging motives we never confirmed.

2. Life Is Diverse
Life doesn’t treat everyone the same way.
--The person who promised you money may be facing a financial crisis.
--The person who didn’t answer your call may be in a meeting, overwhelmed, or struggling silently.

*Key Lessons:

•Give the Benefit of the Doubt:
--Make room for grace in your judgments.

• Verification Over Assumption: --Validate your thoughts before reacting.

•Unchecked Assumption Leads to Sin:
--Wrong conclusions can destroy relationships.

•Immaturity Shows in Offence:
--Picking offence at every perceived wrong is childish and unhealthy.

*Examples:

•Someone didn’t invite you to their wedding you take offence.

•Someone didn’t wish you a happy birthday you took offence.

•Someone didn’t like your Facebook post you took offence.

•Someone told you something negative about another, and you believed it without finding out from the person.

And many more examples.

*Often, the offence exists only in the story you created.

*Remember:

• Everyone is fighting battles you know nothing about.

• The people you expect to help may also need help themselves.

• Not everything is personal or intentional.

• Sometimes, people are simply busy surviving life.

*Grow Above Offences

• Manage disappointment while preserving relationships.

• Save yourself unnecessary grudges.

• Protect friendships you may need in the future.

• Learn to grow above offences build fences of wisdom, not walls of bitterness while remaining human in care and humble in love.
