Mun yaba da yadda ka samar da ayyyuka ga matasanmu kamo daga aikin gwamnati, ginin ajujuwa na makarantu, samar da transformer na wutar NEPA, ko yawa matasa aikin yi tare da basu jari da kayan aiki domin dogaro da kai, samar da kayan karatu na zamani wanda ya hada gini dakin computer tare da samar da computer rabon babura, motoci, injin markade dana noman rani dama sauransu.

Call to Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf and Hon. Nura Iro Ma’aji on the Need to Investigate the Ramadan Food Sharing Scheme in Sumaila Local Government

I wish to respectfully draw the attention of His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State, and the Honourable Commissioner for Public Procurement, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Nura Iro Ma’aji, to the need for an urgent investigation into the ongoing Ramadan food sharing scheme in Sumaila Local Government Area.

This program, which is sponsored by His Excellency the Governor, is meant to support and provide relief for the people during this holy month of Ramadan. Since the beginning of the distribution, I have been carefully monitoring the process across several local governments. From my observation, many local governments are doing well and distributing quality food items to the people.

However, the situation in Sumaila Local Government appears to be different. The food items being shared there seem not to match the expected standard or quantity that should reach the people. This is quite concerning, especially considering that the Honourable Commissioner responsible for monitoring such programs is also from Sumaila Local Government.

Unfortunately, despite this, the situation has not improved, and there appears to be little or no visible monitoring to ensure that the program is carried out properly in the area.

Therefore, I respectfully call on His Excellency the Governor and the Honourable Commissioner to kindly send an independent delegation to investigate, monitor, and ensure transparency and accountability in the distribution of the Ramadan food items in Sumaila Local Government.

This will help ensure that the original intention of the program to assist the people during Ramadan is fully achieved and that the benefits reach those who truly deserve them.

Transparency, fairness, and proper monitoring will strengthen public trust in government programs and ensure that no community is left behind.
