We are still reminding all MDAS that IPSAS ACCRUAL BASIS is mandatory.
In addition we are calling all Public Account Committee in both Federal and States that Iwe Peace Consult will assist to vet audited account submitted by Audit firm and Auditor General office of Federation and States by writing it in the simplest lauguage that will be understood by all. Again we shall highlights the important observations in the report supported by relevant extant laws.

I will like to remind all MDAs and Audit firms that reporting system on IPSAS accrual basis especially for those parastatals that are used to prepare audited account and submit at the end of the year. You are to report monthly to accountant general for the Federation based on the reporting platform from accountant general.
Audit Firms that are used to former methods will be dissapointed. Knowledge is power. Treatment of some items such as donations from third party must be disclosed.
The lecturers in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria should key in otherwise they will be producing unemployable graduates. Lecturers do not give what they don't have. The new development in accounting profession such as TSA Ipsas ippis gifmis must be familiar with. There are some terms that many can not explain it to a layman. For example;

IPSAS accrual is real don't be left out.

Appointment of PWC and KPMG to carry out the audit of revenue generating agencies without due process is not acceptable and also contravened local content. I can say with authority that most of the environment of the agencies were not known to the firm's. There are some circulars that are not known to the audit firms which are very important.
