A car accident occurred at Mile 3 Sabuwa in Gombe after a truck trailer from Taraba State lost its brakes while entering the area.

The driver tried to avoid causing serious damage, turning lane, but the car crushed other cars, shops and people nearby.
Seven people were confirmed to have been crushed by the vehicle, while three of them died instantly and others suffered various injuries, with the public scrambling to rescue the victims and evacuate the damaged goods.
