By - I encountered some awaiting trial detainees at a Lagos Magistrate court earlier today. One of them was so excited to connect that he practically fell over.
So many of these guys are victims of the so-called cr!minal justice system that feeds the poor to the prison system while the real criminals are living large. We also met some detainees who have been languishing in prison for 2 years, just waiting for Lagos DPP advice.
