Celebrating 34 Years of Yobe State: My Heritage, My Home. Today, I’m not here to criticize but to encourage my fellow Yobeans, especially our women. Congratulations on our state’s 34th anniversary! I’m grateful for everyone striving to improve Yobe.

Yobe is our home, and its progress is our shared duty. Whether we like it or not, we must contribute to its advancement. I believe It’s not just the responsibility of politicians and officeholders, it’s ours as indigenous people of this state.

Let’s keep working hard, keep believing, and keep moving forward. Yobe will be great, I assure you.

This is the perfect time for our Representatives to take action and address the issue of poor electricity in our various constituency by Introducing solar systems to the boreholes in each ward. It would enable people to pump water even during electricity shortages. Solar power is a sustainable and reliable alternative that can make a real difference in improving the lives of our community. It’s really disheartening to see how many people are struggling and crying out for water due to lack of access. It’s a basic necessity that everyone should have, Introducing solar systems to the boreholes in each ward could be a game-changer in addressing this issue. It would provide a more sustainable and reliable solution for water supply.

However, it’s crucial for all representatives, including senators, to step up and address the pressing issues in Yobe. The lack of access to water is a critical problem that requires immediate attention and collaborative efforts. The state Governor can’t tackle this alone; it’s the responsibility of all elected officials to provide solutions.

The people voted for you all with high hopes, and it’s time for you to fulfill your obligations. The current situation with no electricity, no water, and financial difficulties is indeed overwhelming. We can only hope for positive changes and that the people in power truly listen to the concerns of the people they serve. Let’s hope that the necessary actions are taken to alleviate this situation soon!
