⚫️A young woman who had been sick for several years and finally been given up to die came into one of our meetings some years ago.

⚫️While she was seated in the hall, diseased and in pain, there was such glorious worship going on that she thought to herself: This is wonderful.

⚫️If I ever have the opportunity to worship God in my life, this is it!

⚫️At that point she looked away from her sickness and up to God.

⚫️She worshipped the Lord with all of her heart, in spite of the pain racking her body.

⚫️Suddenly, she noticed that she was lifting her hands.

⚫️These were the same hands she couldn’t move before.

⚫️For a moment she thought, How come my hands are going up? Then it dawned on her that she’d been healed, and she ran out to give her testimony.

⚫️She was just worshipping!

⚫️What wonderful miracles can take place when you turn away from your problems and look instead to the Lord in worship and praise!

⚫️Helen Keller rightly said that those who look at the sun do not see the shadows.

—⭐️How true!

⚫️When you worship God, your heart goes to Him and you don’t see the evil around you.

⚫️Jesus is the Sun of righteousness (Malachi 4:2).

—⭐️If you gaze at Him, your troubles will vanish.

⚫️The Canaanite woman whose daughter was grievously vexed with a devil had to turn away from her problems and worship the Master.

⚫️When she first came to Him, all her attention was on her problem—her daughter who was vexed with a devil—but the Lord answered her not a word until she worshipped (Matthew 15: 21-28).

⚫️Thank God she had enough sense to take her eyes off her problems to look upon the Master in worship.

⚫️It got His attention and she got her miracle.

⚫️We read another beautiful account in Luke 7:36-47 about a woman who poured her expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet.

⚫️As its sweet scent pervaded the house, her sacrifice was accepted of God because it was from a heart full of worship; and her many sins were forgiven in a moment.

⚫️Many generations after, we still read about her and learn from her remarkable act of worship.

⚫️You need to know that you’re accepted of God as you speak to God in praise and adoration.

⚫️There’s so much to thank Him for; so learn to lift your hands in worship to Him in acknowledgement of His majesty, not just because you want to ask for something.

⚫️Learn to constantly glorify Him for who He is.

✅Hallelujah!!!

THE LANGUAGE OF THE HEAVENLY
..The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity (Isaiah 33:24).

Your words reveal your origin. What you say is the expression of who you are and where you’re from. In other words, your speech unveils your nature. If you’re born of God, then your language must reflect your heavenly nature and divine origin.

You hail from God. You’re born after the second and last Adam, the Lord from heaven; therefore, you’re a heavenly being (1 Corinthians 15:47-48). You have a heavenly life, with its own consciousness, its own characteristics, and its own language.

This is where many miss it. They acknowledge they’re born again, but their communication doesn’t align with their origin. They still speak the language of the earthlings: words of fear, weakness, defeat and limitation. Don’t speak like the world because you’re not of this world: “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world” (John 17:16). Speak from heaven.

And what does that mean in practical terms? It means your speech must be consistent with your nature in Christ and aligned with the Word of God. The inhabitants of Zion don’t speak sickness. That’s what the Scripture says: “The inhabitants shall not say, I am sick.” It’s not merely a statement; it’s a culture, a consciousness, and a way of life.

There’s a language that goes with your nature in Christ. You don’t talk lack, you don’t talk defeat, and you don’t talk fear, because that’s not who you are. Your words carry power. They transmit life, strength, health, victory, righteousness and prosperity. Therefore, speak the language of the Kingdom.

Speak like the Master. Speak only what God says. The Bible declares, “...He hath said…so that we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6). That’s the pattern: He says it, and you say the same in agreement. Refuse to speak contrary to your nature. Refuse to align your words with circumstances. You’re not governed by what you see or feel; you’re governed by the Word. Speak faith-filled, life-giving words. Speak the language of the heavenly.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the life of Christ in me and for my heavenly nature. I speak in alignment with your Word, and my words are filled with power, life and grace. I speak health, strength, victory and righteousness today. The communication of my faith is effective, producing results that glorify you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

⚫️You realize the power of praise in Jericho.

⚫️You also learn the power of silence in Jericho.

⚫️When you come to Jericho, you know when to be quiet and when to shout.

⚫️In Jericho, something unique happens in your life: you’re at once a quiet and a shouting person.

⚫️Some people look at you and say, “He’s a very quiet fellow,” others say, “Get to hear him when he’s in church!”

⚫️In Jericho, you have the strategies of the Holy Ghost for victory in your life.

⚫️You operate in the power of the Holy Ghost because you have come to know Him and His presence with you.

⚫️He said to Joshua, “I am with you.” When you know Him, no walls are too thick anymore.

⚫️When I hear a brother or sister talk about needing a breakthrough, I know they haven’t yet arrived at Jericho.

⚫️In Jericho you realize you don’t need to puncture a hole through any wall in your life, you don’t even need to break through it.

⚫️Walls represent obstacles, barriers, challenges that separate you from God’s best for you.

⚫️It could be in your finances, your health, family or job.

⚫️When you understand the Holy Ghost Who Joshua met at Jericho, your life will be different.

⚫️You’ll not be thinking of breaking through, but of the whole wall coming down.

⚫️The wall will of necessity come down! Whatever barrier or challenges; whether man-made, devil-made or self-constructed; the Holy Spirit, your Helper will teach you what to do to bring them crumbling down.

⚫️Now that you have moved from Gilgal, through Bethel to Jericho, and have come to know the Holy Ghost, nothing is too hard anymore!

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR BODY
..Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost...and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19).

Did you know that your body isn’t yours? It belongs to Jesus Christ; you were bought with a price. The Bible says, “...therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's” (1 Corinthians 6:20). Even though your body belongs to God, He has entrusted it to you. You’re the custodian of your body; you’re responsible for it.

Many haven’t understood this. They think God is responsible for their body and whatever happens in it. They assume that if they serve God well enough, He’ll automatically take care of their health. But that’s not how it works. You’re responsible for keeping your body in health.

Faithfulness isn’t the same as faith. You can be faithful in serving God and still allow sickness in your body because you haven’t taken your place of dominion. You’re a partaker of the divine nature; you’re not ordinary. You have authority over Satan, sickness, disease, infirmity, and death.

So, refuse to allow sickness or disease gain entrance into your body. Don’t permit it. If you notice symptoms, don’t panic, don’t cry, and don’t accept them. More importantly, don’t beg God to take them away. You’ve been given authority. Exercise it. He said in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils….” Notice that He told you to do it.

Don’t beg God to take sickness away from you; rather, destroy it with your faith-filled words. Put your hand on your body and say, “In the Name of Jesus Christ, I command this sickness to get out of my body. This body belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, and I refuse to allow any sickness in it.”

When you speak like that in the Name of Jesus, that condition has no choice but to go. God is pleased with your faith. The Bible says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Hebrews 11:6). You don’t cry over sickness; you exercise authority over it. Use the Word to keep your body in health; this is God’s will for you: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).

PRAYER / CONFESSION

I have the life of God in me, and it fully inundates my body. Sickness, disease and infirmity have no place in me because my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I walk in health, strength and perfection. Hallelujah!

⚫️Prayer is important; it not only serves as communication with God in terms of fellowship, but it also affects your life in many other ways.

⚫️Prayer can shape a man’s future. It will deter- mine the kind of things that will happen or will not happen in a man’s life.

⚫️This is why it’s impor- tant to learn to pray effective prayers that achieve results.

⚫️To get a clearer understanding of how this can be achieved, reference will be made again to the book of Genesis: the account of God’s cre- ation.

⚫️Genesis 1:1-2:

—⭐️📖“In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was with- out form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God MOVED upon the face of the waters.”

⚫️The Amplified version says,

—⭐️📖“In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned and) created the heavens and the earth...The Spirit of God was moving (hover- ing, brooding) over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:1-2).

⚫️The words CREATED, MOVED and MADE have distinct meanings that influence the com- prehension of these scriptures.

⚫️‘MOVE’ originates from the Hebrew word ‘RACHAPH’ which means ‘to brood’ or ‘to flutter’. Its particular implication, however, is ‘to relax.’

⚫️Therefore, when the Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water, the best syn- onym for ‘move’ will be ‘brood.’

⚫️Brood means ‘to sit over something so as to hatch’ or ‘to bring forth’.

⚫️If God was sitting over the earth, it means He was brooding and if He was brooding, that means He was relaxed.

⚫️Since ‘MOVED’ imply being relaxed, that tells you that the Spirit of God had a plan He was brooding over so as to bring forth something.

⚫️At that time, there was darkness everywhere; the world was a chaotic mass.

⚫️Isaiah 24:1:

—⭐️📖“Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhab- itants thereof.”

⚫️Jeremiah 4:23-26 confirms the situation of the earth at that time.

—⭐️📖“I beheld the earth, and lo, it was with- out form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.”

⚫️However, God was settled. He had some-
thing on His mind that He was settled about;

⚫️His mind was fixed on something that he wanted.

⚫️Though the earth was in disarray, He was neither double-minded nor unstable.

⚫️The Spirit of God began to brood over the earth so as to effect a change.

⚫️Genesis 1: 21, 25:

—⭐️📖“And God CREATED great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly... And God MADE the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth...”

⚫️The words ‘CREATED’ and ‘MADE’ are used here but they both have distinct meanings.

⚫️CRE- ATE is derived from the Hebrew word ‘BARA’ which means ‘to bring into being.’ In other words, all the things God created did not exist before that time; He brought them into being.

⚫️‘MADE’ on the other hand, is derived from the Hebrew word ‘ASAH’ which means ‘to make out of previously existing materials.’

⚫️The two materials that were available to God
were water and earth (the ground).

⚫️All He made
was brought forth from the waters and the earth.

⚫️Genesis 1:26:

—⭐️📖“And God said, Let us MAKE man in our image, after our likeness...”
‘MAKE’ here is referring to shaping, fash- ioning, making from previously existing materi- als. It was God’s suggestion to make man, so in verse 27 the Bible tells us, “So God CREATED man in his own image, in the image of God cre- ated he him; male and female created he them.”

⚫️In Genesis 2:7 we see that God FORMED man from the dust of the ground. He did not CRE- ATE man from dust, He did not bring man into being from the dust.

⚫️Rather, God created man in His own image.

⚫️ It was after bringing man into be- ing that He formed man out of dust. God was there- fore able to rest from all His work which He cre- ated and made as indicated in Genesis 2:3.

⚫️Genesis 1:11,

—⭐️📖 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed...and it was so.”

⚫️Looking at this scripture, you will think God just said bring forth and the vegetation came forth.

⚫️However, before He spoke, He had been incubat- ing deeply, brooding over these things and medi- tating on them.

⚫️It was only after meditating that He spoke and it was so.

Even when God spoke, the plants and trees did not just spring out of the ground because Gen- esis 2:4-5 states:

—⭐️📖“...When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens - and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground.” (NIV).

⚫️God had not caused it to rain so the plants could not grow.

⚫️Nothing appeared on the earth because there was neither rain nor a man to till the ground.

⚫️The only thing that could have been there would have been a seed.

⚫️Genesis 1:11 con- firms that God said the earth should bring forth grass and fruit trees and it was so, yet in the above scripture, you discover that rain was needed for these plants to spring up.

⚫️Every time God said ‘Let there be’ He was speaking, creating, bringing into being.

⚫️the Bible testifies to this in Hebrews 11:3.

—⭐️📖“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

⚫️God had been meditating, brooding over the earth.

⚫️It was only after this that He spoke ‘words of faith’ that brought all creation into existence.

⚫️it all became a reality, for the Bible tells us that He saw that they were good.

⚫️While God was creating all things, they were not physically tangible but He created them with words.

⚫️He spoke to the materials that were avail- able to Him.

⚫️What materials are available to you?

⚫️What do you have with you?

⚫️Don’t say you don’t have anything.

⚫️You just may not have observed what you have.

⚫️When God spoke to Moses at the burning bush, He asked him, “What do you have in your hand?”

⚫️Moses could have said “Nothing” but he an- swered, “a rod.”

⚫️This previously seemingly unimportant rod became “the rod of God” that Moses used in performing miracles.

⚫️God had the waters and the earth.

⚫️He be- gan to brood over the whole earth and finally, when His faith was fully mature, He spoke.

⚫️When He spoke, the things did not seem to appear physi- cally but they appeared to Him in the spirit - world.

⚫️He then took steps to put in place all He had said.

⚫️Creation is done in your spirit.

⚫️As the Word is spoken, it transforms your imagination into re- ality.

⚫️Reality does not mean tangible, rather it means truth.

⚫️It exists and it’s there whether or not you can touch it.

✅Hallelujah!!

YOU’RE GOD’S VOICE TO YOUR GENERATION

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).

The responsibility for preaching the Gospel today rests with us. Those who came before us fulfilled their part and completed their assignments. The Apostle Paul, for example, declared at the end of his ministry, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). He knew he had accomplished what God sent him to do.

Now, the responsibility has passed on to us. We’re the ones appointed by God for our generation. We’re His messengers, entrusted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach the world in our day. This is a sobering and inspiring truth: the Gospel has been committed to your trust.

God works through men and women who understand their calling and take responsibility for their generation. So, impact your world with the Gospel. It’s what He called us to live for. He said in Matthew 4:19, “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” He said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14).

We’re the ones charged with the responsibility to preach the Gospel in all the world, disciple the nations, and make them ready for the soon-coming of the Lord Jesus. He said in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

We’re His ambassadors, sent to bring others into this new life and show them how to live victoriously. Think about the impact that can be made when each one of us takes this seriously, the expanded reach and influence. That’s what the Lord wants. You’re not here by chance; you’re His mouthpiece to your generation.

The Gospel has been committed to you; therefore, preach it with urgency, boldness and conviction. Through you, God wants to locate and bring the last lost soul into the Kingdom. Take your place and fulfill your ministry. This is your time; impact your world for Christ.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for entrusting me with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I recognize my responsibility as your ambassador and minister of reconciliation to my generation. I proclaim your Word with boldness, and today, through me, lives are transformed and your Kingdom is expanded, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

⚫️Through prayers we can prevail on circum- stances.

God has shown us in His Word that we can change anything, including things that were divinely destined to be.

⚫️This may sound incredible to you but it’s in the Bible!

⚫️God may have said you’re going to have it one way, but if you discover you don’t want it that way, you can change it.

⚫️It’s amazing, but it’s true.

⚫️The only reasons something can happen to you as God said it would are when:

⭐️I. You want it to happen

⭐️II. You don’t know it’s going to happen

⭐️III. You know it’s going to happen, but you don’t know what to do to change it

⭐️IV. You don’t do what you should do, even though you know it’s going to happen.

⚫️God doesn’t run our lives the way we think He does.

⚫️Whenever He wants to do something nobody can change, nobody gets to know about it until it’s done.

⚫️Moses said the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children, but the things that are not revealed belong to God (Deuteronomy 29:29).

⚫️So when He doesn’t want any human influence on it, and when there can be no human influence on it, He doesn’t reveal it!

⚫️But if He reveals it to you, He is telling you if you want to change it, you can!

⚫️And you can only change it when you pray, and pray the right way!

⚫️There are several accounts in the Scriptures of men who changed the mind of God from what He had determined to do.

⚫️One of such accounts is in Exodus 32:7-14 where we read of how Moses stood between God and the children of Israel.

⚫️ God had determined to destroy them for their rebellion and stubborness and raise a new generation from Moses, but Moses prevailed on God and prevented Him from doing as He had purposed.

⚫️We see another instance in 2 Kings 20 where one man changed the course of an event that had been divinely ordered of God.

⚫️King Hezekiah had been sick to the point of death, and one day, the prophet Isaiah walked into his room and declared, “...Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live” (2 Kings 20:1).

⚫️This was undoubtedly the Word and mind of God concerning Hezekiah’s situation.

⚫️He was doomed to die by none other than God Himself, and there seemed to be no way out.

⚫️But in the next verse, we read that “he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord...” (2 Kings 20:2).

⚫️King Hezekiah pleaded his case with God and the Bible says, “And it came to pass afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.

⚫️And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

⚫️And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered” (2 Kings 20:4- 7).

⚫️Talk about changing a hopeless situation!

🟤Man died spiritually and right from then on death reigned over him.

—⭐️📖Romans 5:12, 14, 17, 21, “ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: ...Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the simili- tude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come ...For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abun- dance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ...That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

🟤By one man’s sin death reigned over all men.

Death gained the dominion over all men, and from Adam to Jesus, sin gained the mastery over man’s spirit, and sickness came in, leading to physical death.

🟤Thus the reign of sin and sickness began in man’s spirit and ended up in his body, such that the human body could now experience death.

🟤But happy are you if you’re born again, be- cause death no longer reigns over you!

—⭐️📖Romans 5:16-21, “And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abun- dance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to con- demnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteous- ness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

🟤Praise the Lord! By the righteousness Jesus ob- tained for us, the full gift of righteousness came upon us unto life.

🟤The reign of sin and sickness over us has ended, and so has the dominion of disease.

🟤This is why any of the diseases that afflicted the Egyptians, or any other disease that afflicts man should not af- flict us.

THE POWER IS IN THE GOSPEL

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth… (Romans 1:16).

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a marvellous message, extraordinary, not only for what it says but for what it does. The Bible declares that it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. This means God’s saving power is wrapped in the message of the Gospel.

There’s a miracle-working power in the Gospel such that when it’s proclaimed and believed, a transformation takes place in the one who hears it and receives it. The individual knows within himself that something has changed. This is the power of God at work through the message.

What makes this so remarkable is that the power is in the announcement itself. One person proclaims the message, another hears it, believes it, and instantly the power of God is activated in that person’s life, resulting in salvation. And beyond that, healings take place; blind eyes are opened, deaf ears are unstopped and even those who were hitherto paralyzed and bedridden get off their beds (Acts 9:32-35).

This is why the Lord commanded us to preach the Gospel to every creature. The power is not in human persuasion or ability; it is in the message itself. Paul said, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). The message may be simple, but it’s backed by all of heaven’s authority.

When you understand this, it gives you confidence. You know that whenever you share the Gospel, it will produce results. No one is beyond the reach of the Gospel. If it worked in you, it will work for anyone. This is why we can’t keep it to ourselves. The Gospel must be told everywhere because wherever it is proclaimed and believed, the power of God is manifested.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the power of the Gospel that’s transforming lives all over the world. I am bold and unashamed to proclaim this message everywhere, knowing that your power is at work in everyone who hears and believes, and they’re thus translated from death to life, from sin unto righteousness, and from the power of Satan unto God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
