FUDU, A LEARNING INSTITUTE WITH DIFFERENCE

The Federal University Dutsinma established in 2012 by President Goodluck Jonathan, and the institution has been in leadership crisis until in early 2021 when Prof. Armaya’u Bichi assumed office as substantive Vice Chancellor.
Investigation conducted by teaming journalists has shown that significant achievements have been achieved in under the present administration of Prof. Armaya’u Bichi.
A team of journalists concerned with the development of education particularly in the North visited the institute in Dutsinma katsina state, were they assess the achievements made so far under the able leadership of Prof. Bichi.
with simple view to encourage the leadership and for others to emulate “FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUTSINMA”, a learning institute with difference”.
The investigative reporting conducted by the journalists, has shown that one of the gigantic achievements recorded was employment and deployment of additional qualified academic and non academic staff.
This no doubt will help in meeting up the demand of qualified staff in the institute.
The achievements recorded so far in the institution (Federal University Dutsinma), is highly commendable.
For an institution of this magnitude to achieve the required success staffing is vital to this situation.
Similarly, investigation has shown that additional commitment was made by the leadership of the institution engaged sponsorship in training, conferences, and workshops with a view to boost academic excellence, whereby many academic staff enjoyed.
The leadership of the institute engaged in regular promotion of staff.
Professor Bichi’s emergence as substantive Vice Chancellor has brought serenity by setting new path for the institution looking at the infrastructural and academic development his administration has recorded in the last few months.
Also, the relocation of the university’s activities to its permanent site from the take off campus is a big development and testimony.
In the last few months, to months, to meet the standard of a developed university that can compete with others globally, Bichi was able to recruit more than 1,000 newly appointed staff both academic and non-academic.

Further investigation conducted by the visiting journalists, discovered that many projects were put in place by the present leadership of the University, through IGR. Few are infrastructural developments, etc.

SHEIKH HARUN IBN SINA BAGS MEDIA AWARD

The Commandant General of Kano State Hisbah Board SHEIKH HARUN MUHAMMAD SANI IBN SINA bags Arewa Media Practitioners award for his performance in this year-2020/2021 in community services, societal and human development.

In a special programme held at Hisbah Kano, on Wednesday, the national president of the Arewa Media Practitioners Comrade Musa Mohammed presented the award to Sheikh Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina who is the the commandant General of the board.

The national president of the Arewa Media said, the award bestowed on the Ibn Sina, is as a result of his stewardship.

“It’s the opinion of the award selection committee which says Sheikh Harun Ibn Sina hard working and selfless services over the years justified the prestigious award on him” he added.

The Commandant General of the board in his response, expressed appreciation to the Arewa Media Practitioners, saying he considered the award a challenge to do more.

KADUNA WORKERS ARE NOT SLAVES! – THEY HAVE RIGHTS!!

It has been tales of sorrows, tears and blood from Kaduna State especially as occasioned by increasing waves of kidnapping, banditry, general insecurity, mass sack of workers and killing of students peacefully protesting the hike in school fees at Gidan Waya, Kaduna State. This situation is being encouraged by the neo-liberal policies of the Kaduna State Government.
The Nigeria Labour Congress will not fold its arms and watch a situation where thousands of workers are sacked with impunity and in clear violation of the clear provisions of our labour laws. Furthermore, it is sickening that not being satisfied with destroying the livelihoods of workers, the state government has graduated to killing students. The actions of the Kaduna State Government demonstrate complete contempt to the present and future labour force in Kaduna State.
Workers are not slaves. They have families. They have dependents to take care of. They have rights! Protecting the rights and dignity of workers using all lawful means including strike actions falls under the mandate of the Nigeria Labour Congress. This mandate to protest and protect the interest of Nigerian workers as enshrined in Nigeria’s Constitution and Labour Laws will be robustly deployed again by Congress in Kaduna State. This time it will be to total and in defense and protection of the rights of Nigerian workers and pensioners whom Mr. Nasir El-Rufai relentlessly seeks to convert to his foot carpet. NBAIS: Registrar Refutes Alleged Multi-Billion Naira Financial Fraud, Job Racketeering Scandal.

The Registrar of the National Board For Arabic And Islamic Studies (NBAIS) Professor Muhammad Shafiu Abdullahi has refuted allegations of corruption, dismissing this as propaganda and claiming them as political accusations

APC DENIED SUSPENSION OF HON. KAZAURE.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kazaure local government, ward Chairmen’s and has denied the suspension of Honorable Muhammed Gudaji Kazaure, member representing kazaure, Roni, Gwiwwa and Yankwashe federal constituency.

In a letter dated 31st may 2021,signed by all wards chairmen in kazaure local government area, copied to APC National Caretaker Chairman and APC state Chairman, Jigawa state.

The APC ward chairmen in kazaure local government says the suspension of Hon. Gudaji Kazaure by unscrupulous politicians is a distraction to the party.

In a statement on Sunday, the ward chairmen of the party in kazaure urged National Caretaker Chairman to disregard the suspension, saying Hon. Gudaji Kazaure never committed any offence.

“We urge the National Caretaker Chairman and APC stakeholders to completely disregard the suspension of Hon. Muhammad Gudaji kazaure . Why should he be suspended? What crime did he commit to be suspended? These fine gentleman did nothing wrong.

It is evident that before the constitution of the present All Progressives Congress, APC National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, the party was already tottering on the brinks of a serious rift. There was a major division among the principal stakeholders who believed that the former National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole performed abysmally in the 2019 general elections in which APC lost in some swing States including Bauchi, Adamawa, Bayelsa and Zamfara and should accordingly be shown the way out. Others held their ground that the Comrade Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole should be allowed to consolidate as he barely came on board at the eve of the elections and couldn't have performed a magic.

In his intervention however, Mr President and leader of the party, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari was determined to prove that the potential of APC as a party to internally disagree is more than matched by her mechanisms and capacity to reconcile and evolve that common ground that is the defining essence of serious politics and irrevocable roadmap to nation building. Although, there aspirants from both political parties have decleared their intrest to Succeed Elrufai whose tenure expires on the 29th of May, 2023.

But my findings revealed that Rt. Hon. Isah Ashiru Kudan may Likely Succeeded the Outgoing Governor due to his qualities.

Ashiru Kudan, is a Native of Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

He attended LEA primary school, kudan from 1968-1974. Then attended Secondary school from 1975-1980 at Kufena college wusasa, Zaria. He proceeded to earn his National Diploma in Business Administration from 1982-1985 at the katsina polytechnic. From 1987-1989, he attended Kaduna state polytechnic and completed his HND. In 1990, he served the National Youth Service Corps in Borno State.(BO/KD/89/42117). In 1999, he acquired a post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management.
