I still remember one of my earliest experiences working in public health research within RMNCAH+N+M. It was during a field activity focused on maternal and newborn health services in a rural community.
On paper, the data looked straightforward, numbers of antenatal visits, facility deliveries, postpartum follow-ups. But behind every number was a real woman, a real family, and often a difficult story.
One encounter changed my perspective completely. I met a young mother who had delivered at home after laboring for hours because the nearest health facility was far away and transportation was expensive. She later developed complications that could have been prevented with timely care. As she shared her experience, I realized that research is not just about collecting data or writing reports; it is about understanding the realities people face every day.
That moment strengthened my passion for RMNCAH research and quality improvement. Since then, I have become more committed to generating evidence that can improve reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, adolescent health, nutrition, and malaria services, especially for underserved communities.
Working across different public health projects has taught me that impactful research goes beyond statistics. It requires listening, empathy, collaboration, and translating findings into actions that save lives.
Every dataset now reminds me that behind each percentage is a mother trying to survive childbirth, a newborn needing a healthy start, or a family hoping for better healthcare access.
This journey continues to inspire my work as a public health nurse, researcher, and RMNCAH advocate.

In a world where everyone is struggling to survive, succeed, and make a name for themselves, we should never forget eternity.
I watched the story of a brother and sister who died and shared what they saw about Heaven and Hell, and it is a reminder that this life is temporary.
You can watch this:

No matter how busy we are chasing success, money, or comfort, let us remember that Heaven and Hell are real. Live with purpose, show love, do good, and stay close to God, because one day, eternity will matter more than anything we achieved on earth.

Happy International Midwives’ Day.
Being a midwife is more than a profession, it is a calling.
It means standing with women in their most vulnerable and powerful moments… supporting life, offering care, and bringing hope.
I am proud of the impact I have made and grateful for every life touched along the way.
Today, we celebrate all midwives around the world who continue to save lives every day.

Do you know that where a woman lives, and even the air she breathes, can affect her pregnancy?
We all know that environmental factors like heat, pollution, and food shortages are now affecting the health of mothers and their babies.
Imagine being pregnant during extreme heat…
Or living in an area with poor air quality…
Or struggling to access nutritious food…
These are real challenges many women face today.
This is why environmental health is now a maternal health issue.
To truly protect mothers and children, we must look beyond hospitals and consider the environments they live in.
This is because every mother deserves a safe and healthy environment to bring life into the world.
Adolescent health and social media

Your teenager’s health is now shaped by what they scroll.
Today's adolescents are growing up in a digital world, and it’s shaping their health in ways we are only beginning to understand.
- Late nights on screens affecting sleep.
- Online pressure affecting self-esteem.
- Cyberbullying affecting mental health.
Behind the screens are real young people trying to navigate it all.
This is not just a “technology issue”, it is a health issue.
We need to guide, support, and protect adolescents in digital spaces, while helping them build healthy habits.
At SynergiPoint Global, we work with organisations to design programs that respond to emerging challenges like this, combining public health, research, and real-world solutions.
Because the future of adolescent health is both physical, and digital.

We often focus on the physical health of mothers and children, but what about their mental and emotional well-being?
Mental health is increasingly recognized as a critical component of maternal and child health, yet it remains under-addressed.
Many mothers experience:
- Postpartum depression
- Anxiety during and after pregnancy
- Emotional stress linked to caregiving and life pressures
At the same time, early childhood development is deeply influenced by a child’s emotional environment and the mental well-being of caregivers.
This is why we must prioritize:
- Psychosocial support for mothers
- Trauma-informed maternal care
- Early childhood development interventions
- Integrated mental health services within maternal and child health programs
Supporting mental health is not optional, it is essential for healthier families and stronger communities.
At SynergiPoint Global, I support organizations to design and implement holistic RMNCAH programs that include mental health and psychosocial support.
