Many thanks to Jnbn Shikongo who arranged for donated fiction, nonfiction and textbooks to reach the keen students at Mandume Language Centre in Windhoek - the 20th site that has now received our support!

Our initiative now has 18 supported sites! Please contact us if you have books, study guides or magazines like ‘National Geographic’ you can donate. We can take delivery or put you in contact with a centre that would LOVE to receive them. In Windhoek, feel free to drop them off at the Physically Active Youth Namibia little library at the Windhoek Multi-purpose Youth Resources Centre.

Many thanks to Mayi Kandishishi who kindly arranged transport for TWELVE boxes of donated books, magazines and textbooks (no, not whisky!) to begin their journey from us all the way to region where they will fill the shelves of a community library. A good moment to celebrate all the many Namibians who give their unwanted books and shelves, plus much time and effort to spreading the love of reading right around the land.

Beautiful participants and prizes at the Sec Namibia schools’ quiz this weekend. We are proud to support this incredible organisation as it motivates the next generation of environmental custodians and defenders of Namibian nature

A brilliant initiative in South Africa. We need these visiting our far-flung rural settlements and even the informal communities in our towns. Which big corporation would be willing to set this system up here in the Land of the (illiterate) Brave?

This is a brilliant initiative. So many schools, community libraries, after-school clubs and resource centres desperately need such supplies. Please support this!
