I took this photo in the Kalahari Gemsbok Park more than thirty years ago. Today we are heading back there - to what is now the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Let's see what we see 🤞

Who Dares Wins. One day, a Pale-winged Starling or some other desert bird deposited some wild fig seeds down the side of a granite boulder. The seed not only dared to germinate, but seems to be winning.
