Every matric mom remembers the exact moment she saw her daughter fully ready, not just dressed, but ready. Hair done, dress fitted, standing a little taller than usual.

This one was a full ball gown with a sheer illusion sleeve and hand-placed lace appliqué, built for her and her alone.

Most people see the finished dress.
What they don't see is this the moment where a full geometric beading pattern meets a one-shoulder cut and every single line has to match up perfectly across the seam.
This is sequin fabric, not sequins added after the fact.
Which means every seam has to be planned before a single cut is made.
This is the part of the job nobody claps for, but it's the part that makes the dress actually work. 💛
This is one of the designs I get asked for the most and there's a reason it keeps coming back.
That illusion neckline sitting over a strapless lace bodice isn't one piece of fabric doing the work.
It's sheer tulle, hand-placed lace appliqué, and a strapless foundation underneath holding the whole shape built to look like it's floating, without actually being see-through where it shouldn't be.
This is the modest-but-glamorous combination so many of my brides ask for.
