📰 AKA Murder Suspects to Be Extradited to South Africa Next Week

Two brothers linked to the murders of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane are expected to be extradited from Eswatini to South Africa next Tuesday.

Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande were arrested in Mbabane, Eswatini, in February last year in connection with the 2023 double murder. The Manzini Magistrate’s Court had granted South Africa’s extradition request in October, but the brothers initially appealed the decision. Last week, they abandoned their appeal, clearing the way for their return.

According to the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, Eswatini’s acting Prime Minister has signed the release order, paving the way for their extradition. The Ndimande brothers will join five other accused in the Durban High Court, facing charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful possession of fi****ms and ammunition.

Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed outside a popular restaurant on Florida Road in Durban two years ago, in a case that shocked the nation and sparked widespread calls for justice.
