The session explored the importance of Strategic Talent Management and Succession Planning in ensuring organizational sustainability and long-term success. Participants gained valuable insights into identifying high-potential talent, developing future leaders, and creating structured succession strategies to strengthen organizational resilience.

On 7 June 2026, MBA@UTHM proudly celebrated its 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner at Maple Hall, Orchid Event Space, Batu Pahat, bringing together alumni, students, lecturers, industry partners, and distinguished guests to commemorate a decade of excellence.

The event was graced by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Afandi bin Ahmad, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), as the official representative of the Vice Chancellor of UTHM, alongside YBhg. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Amri bin Lajis, UTHM Board of Directors member, YM Ungku Mohd Tahir Bin Ungku Mohd Zakaria, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Johor State Civil Service Academy and YBhg. Prof. Ts. Dr. Rabiah binti Ahmad FASc, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation).

The evening reunited alumni and students from Batch 1 (2016) to Batch 20 (2026), showcasing the remarkable journey of MBA@UTHM from its beginnings under FPTP to its continued growth under Johor Business School (JBS). Over the past decade, the programme has produced graduates who have gone on to make meaningful contributions across various sectors.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of 10 Alumni Awards, recognising outstanding graduates for their achievements and contributions.

The celebration also included a special appreciation ceremony for Prof. Dr. Wan Fauziah binti Wan Yusoff in recognition of her invaluable contributions, dedication, and leadership throughout her distinguished service to MBA@UTHM and the university community as she embarks on her retirement.
