is an innovative furniture brand addressing the environmental impact of ‘fast furniture’. The company produces flat-packed, tool-less furniture designed to be easily disassembled and reassembled. This approach encourages users to keep their furniture, even when relocating, thereby reducing waste and promoting environmental sustainability. Meticulously designed by regional craftsman, By Hogen aims to shift consumer behaviour towards more durable and timeless furniture choices.

🌭🌭 An eccentric illustration for The concept showcases Chef whimsically carrying an ingenious “Hock’s Dog” (pun intended) creation, crafted from offcuts and repurposed ingredients from the day’s service. Reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability and culinary ingenuity, the inventive dish is served as a surprise during the meal.

Altertaste is a cafe housed in a heritage building in the bustling neighborhood of Lebuh Cecil, Georgetown.
Retaining elements of the building’s history and charm, our interior design direction seeks to juxtapose contemporary touches with a minimalist aesthetic. A restrained design palette allows the space’s natural materials and stories to shine - from textured surfaces to sleek, gleaming stainless steel accents.
Through the bold incorporation of a striking purple shade, visual reminders of the brand’s philosophy is woven throughout the space, subtly challenging patrons’ tastebuds and expectations with each sipping experience.
