Thank you to all the artists who took part in this exhibition, and to everyone who came by MassHaus over the weekend. The response to Unfinished was incredible and the space was filled with conversations.

The 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 works sparked many discussions about the process of making art and even about what we consider to be an artwork in the first place. Many visitors were excited to see works that are usually kept inside the studio: canvases in progress, sketchbooks, and ideas that were left open.
Some were curious whether the artists will ever finish these works, imagining what they might eventually become. A few even suggested we should hold another exhibition next year to see the “finished” versions.

The open studio setup created a relaxed atmosphere, where visitors felt comfortable moving through the space, flipping through sketchbooks, and spending time with the works without the usual formality of a gallery setting.

A big thank you as well to the 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 organizers for making this weekend possible and for bringing the community together around art.

Presented within an open studio environment, Unfinished invites viewers to reconsider where completion truly exists with the artist, the object, or the viewer.

The last day of "Gaze Down, Float Up" is approaching and we want to close the show with something truly special, a night picnic among the clouds with a special appearance by Chelsia Ng, who will be singing us a few of her dreamy originals.
