I’m excited to share some updates on PuertoApp. 🚀
After getting the search function up and running, I’ve been focusing on how best to display the information. Following lots of testing with different app-building platforms, I’ve finally chosen one and have been busy connecting the database to the page modules over the past few days.
The design is still a work in progress (so bear with me on that!), but I’m thrilled with how much has come together in such a short time. Check out the click-through functionality in this quick demo!

IT’S ALIVE!!! Well, almost. An amazing update to share is that PuertoApp’s search functionality and knowledge base is working and providing amazing results.
But they’re really ugly. The formatting and display just are not what I’m happy with so I’m just going to go ahead and upgrade the tool pre-launch and develop a proper app that you’ll be able to use on the web, and eventually download to your Android or Apple device.
Today I’ve been working on wireframing PuertoApp to offer a much improved user experience.
I’ll share more of an update for you all in the following days!

Still a lot of tweaking to do, BUT… could there be a more appropriate first search for a tool to explore a drinking town with a fishing problem?
