It was a wonderful 3 days of Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) training program. There were different women who are into green projects and businesses. WE4A is an action jointly supported by the European Union (EU), the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), and the German Development agency GIZ (E4D program). It is focused on empowering underserved communities in Sub-Saharan Africa comprising of women, youth, and the informal sector. The Acceleration/Growth Programme is implemented with support from SAFEEM (Swiss Association for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets).

On 22nd October, Enviro Solutions 4 Progressive Innovation (ESPI) was honored as a winner at the Phuka SME Awards, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

The awards, hosted by Standard Bank Malawi in partnership with SMEDI, recognize entrepreneurs whose innovation, resilience, and ambition are contributing to the growth and development of Malawi’s economy.

ESPI was proud to be acknowledged for our excellence in Green Business, standing out among over 400 applications, and only 8 winners were selected, and we are trully humbled to be among them.

Enviro Solutions 4 Progressive Innovations (ESPI), one of the beneficiaries of the Youth Innovation Fund (YIF), was delighted to host the Executive Director Mr. Rex Chapota of the National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) and his team during their monitoring and evaluation visit of the YIF project. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the progress made under the project, share key milestones achieved, and discuss the challenges and lessons learned throughout the implementation process. ESPI expressed gratitude for the continued support and guidance from NYCOM and its commitment to promoting youth led innovations in Malawi.
