މިދުވަސްވަރު ޑެންގީ ހުން ފެތުރޭ މިންވަރު އިތުރުވޭ!

މަދިރި ހެފުމުން ރައްކާތެރިވެ، މަދިރި އާލާވާ ތަންތަން ނައްތާލައި، ފެން ހަރުލާފައި ހުންނަ ތަކެތި ހަފުތާއަކު އެއްފަހަރު ސާފުކުރައްވާ! ބަލިވެ އުޅޭނަމަ އަރާމުކުރުމާ، ގިނައިން ދިޔާ އެއްޗެހި ބޭނުންކުރައްވާ، އަދި އަލާމާތްތައް ގޯސްވާނަމަ ޑޮކްޓަރެއްގެ އެހީތެރިކަން ހޯއްދަވާ!

Ministry of Health, HPA, The Maldives National University, Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture and Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Maldives, participated in the WHO Multi-country Workshop on Strengthening National Workforce Capacity for Essential Public Health Functions (EPHFs), including Emergency Preparedness and Response, held in Colombo from 16–18 June 2026.

A key next step is to develop a National Public Health Workforce Strategy to ensure the Maldives has the right people, with the right skills, in the right places to protect and improve population health and strengthen preparedness for future public health emergencies. 🇲🇻🌏

DGPH met with the Director of the National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS), Kalutara, Sri Lanka, a century-old institution that has played a key role in training generations of public health professionals.

Joined by representatives from FHS-MNU, the meeting explored opportunities for collaboration between NIHS, FHS, and HPA to strengthen public health training, share expertise, and invest in the next generation of the public health workforce.

Deputy Director General of Public Health, Ibrahim Ashraf, participated in the WHO multi-country workshop in Colombo on strengthening the public health workforce, focusing on building the skills needed to better protect communities from current and future health threats. 🇲🇻
