As we begin sharing the story of the EFRU Cycling Tour 2025, we’re opening with something truly meaningful, a piece that captures not just the miles travelled, but the people who make every mile possible.

Rowena, from the Mythic Eye Productions team crafted a heartfelt poem dedicated to EFRU and its . Together with Simon, she transformed those words into a powerful narrative woven through stunning visuals and a voice that brings every emotion to life.

This poem speaks to the quiet of our volunteers, the long hours, the unseen , the moments of , and the commitment to keeping every cyclist safe and supported. It honours the resilience shown on the road, the behind the scenes, and the spirit of that defines EFRU.

To Rowena and the entire Mythic Eye Productions team: thank you for capturing the soul of what we do. To our volunteers: this is your story, your dedication, your heartbeat. And to our cyclists and followers: thank you for being part of this journey.

A special thank you goes to Rowena Testa for the beautiful idea and the moving ; to Glen Smith , whose voice gives those words depth, warmth, and emotion; and to Simon Debattista, whose dedication and tireless work within Mythic Eye Productions shape every detail behind the scenes. 🚨 EFRU at NOVEX25 🚨

Over the last weekend, EFRU participated in NOVEX25, a two-day intensive national exercise organised by K-9 Urban Search and Rescue Malta, focused on enhancing urban search and rescue capabilities.

Working alongside K9 USAR Malta, the Civil Protection Malta, the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) and a diverse group of local and international participants, our members contributed to complex rescue extrication scenarios and rope-based access support for K9 handlers in remote and unstable environments. Such work strengthens inter-agency coordination and technical rescue readiness.

This exercise was a powerful demonstration of what’s possible when expertise and shared purpose come together. We’re grateful for the opportunity to train, learn, and grow with such committed partners.
