Never easy to manage. 😔
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition that causes widespread pain and tenderness in the body, often along with fatigue, sleep problems, and “brain fog.” It’s thought to involve how the brain and spinal cord process pain signals, and the exact cause isn’t fully understood. ���
Common symptoms
Widespread muscle and soft-tissue pain.
Tiredness or exhaustion.
Poor sleep or waking unrefreshed.
Problems with memory, focus, or mood.
Headaches or other body-wide symptoms. ���
What it means
Fibromyalgia is not the same as arthritis, because it does not primarily damage joints or bones. It can still seriously affect daily life, comfort, and mobility, even though it is not usually life-threatening. ��
Treatment
There is no cure, but symptoms can often be managed with a combination of exercise or movement therapy, psychological support, and medications. ��
