Our eyes adjust to different lighting. The camera can't. Editing is how we compensate — capturing skin tone, light, and color the way the eye actually perceives them, not the way the camera recorded them. It's not a generic preset. Nothing gets posted until every pixel earns its place — dark fabric loses detail fast under runway lighting, and that detail is the designer's work. Different skin tones react differently under the same light, so every image gets treated on its own terms.
