This yearโs edition marks an important milestone as Powerade (GSD) joins the tournament for the first time as the main sponsor, supporting the development of International Junior Tennis and helping to elevate the level of the event. The tournament is officially sanctioned by the Malta Tennis & Padel Federation and is financially supported by BeActive - SportMalta.
Once again, the tournament showcased a remarkable display of international talent, with participants hailing from across the globe including Ukraine, Italy, UK, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Serbia, Romania, Norway, Greece, Switzerland, Bulgaria, and Australia
The competition reached new heights, boasting an exceptional level of skill.
Representing Malta were the nationโs finest young athletes, including Emma Montebello, Sophia Arpa, Lily Schranz, Marya Magro, Chloe Kuijt, Ema Jade Vella and Julia Perea Vega, Evan Galea, Kelian Lauwers, Jan Parascandalo, Andy Gingell Litttlejohn, Luke Fiorini Lowell.
Their outstanding performances captivated audiences and exemplified the spirit of
sportsmanship. Over the course of the week, spectators had the opportunity to watch high-level competitive tennis from some of the most promising junior players on the international circuit, alongside Maltaโs top young talents. The event promised exciting matches and a great atmosphere for tennis enthusiasts and sports fans alike.
The tournament crowned deserving champions in various categories, with Elia Euffino and Martino Guy Scotuzzi, both from Italy claimed the Boys Doubles winners, while Ludovica Casalino and Camilla Iannece, both from Italy, triumphed in the Girls Doubles category.
The Singles events saw exceptional performances from talented junior athletes. David Stefan Burac of Romania secured victory in the Boys Singles competition, demonstrating remarkable skill and determination. Meanwhile, Italy's Viola Severi triumphed in the Girls Singles category, standing out as a deserving champion through her impressive display on the court. Their achievements were celebrated as highlights of the tournament, reflecting the high standards and international calibre of this prestigious event.
