1969 Dodge Charger known as the General Lee, signed and driven by John Schneider known as Bo Duke in the tv series Dukes of Hazzard aired from 1979-1985.
The General Lee is a 1969 Dodge Charger 440 with the 440-cubic-inch Magnum V8 engine with 500 horses! Over 250 Dodge Chargers were used on the Dukes of Hazzard teleseries because once a car was jumped it was not used again The shock of the impact completely destroyed the structural integrity of the car. UPDATE: Catherine Bach remains in the hospital. But John Schneider has contacted her by text, and Cathy assured him that she will be fine! (Understandably, her scheduled appearance at Cooter's Place this weekend is canceled.)
For those of y'all who missed the prior post, Cooter's Place shared the news that Catherine Bach had been hospitalized the evening of Oct 30 due to an embolism.
