ကျွန်တော်တို့ Monkey mindကနေ လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ တစ်ပတ်က ချပြခဲ့တဲ့ “The Monkey Mind one-shot comic”လေးကို ဖတ်ရှုအားပေးကြသူတစ်ဦးချင်းစီကို ကျွန်တော်တို့ တစ်bandလုံးကနေ အထူးကျေးဇူးတင်စကား ပါးလိုက်ရပါတယ်။

အခုလိုမျိုး မျှော်လင့်ထားတာထက် ပိုတဲ့ အားပေးမှုတွေနဲ့ Comicအပေါ် ကြိုက်နှစ်သက်ကြတာကို သိရတာ အလွန်အားဖြစ်ရပါတယ်ဗျာ။

Comic‌လေးနဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီး ရရှိကြတဲ့ ခံစားချက်တွေ ကိုယ်စီရေးပေးသွားကြတာတွေ ဖတ်ပြီးလည်း တော်တော်လေး ‘ဟတ်ထိ’ရတယ်ပေါ့ဗျာ။

ကျွန်တော်တို့ပေးချင်တဲ့အရာတွေအကုန် စာဖတ်သူဆီရောက်တယ်ဆိုတာ သိရတာလည်း ဘာနဲ့မှမတူအောင် ပျော်ရပါတယ်။

We’ve put so much depth into the messaging, emotions, and meaning behind this project, and we truly hope you feel that when you read it. We’ll keep pushing ourselves to create even better work. လာမယ့်စနေနေ့မှာတင်ဆက်ပေးသွားမယ့် 'The Monkey Mind' one shot အတွက် idea brainstormတုန်းအချိန်က draftရေးခြစ်ထားတာလေးတွေပါ။

ဒီ one shot လေးက Monkey Mind အဖွဲ့သားတွေအားလုံးအတွက်အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရှိတဲ့projectဖြစ်တာကြောင့် အားလုံးကရေးဆွဲမှုအပိုင်းနဲ့ပက်သက်ပြီး ခါတိုင်းနဲ့မတူတဲ့ အရသာ၊ လက်ရာပုံစံ နဲ့ အငွေ့အသက်တစ်ခုကိုပေးချင်ခဲ့ကြတယ်ပေါ့ဗျာ။ မြန်မာကာတွန်းနဲ့ရုပ်ပြအတွက်လည်း tributeလိုမျိုးလေးရအောင် ဒီတစ်ခါ classicalအရသာလေးပေးချင်တယ်ပေါ့။

အဓိက ကတော့ စာရေးဆရာရောအဖွဲ့သားအားလုံးဟာ ဒီ comicလေးကနေ စာဖတ်သူတွေကို Monkey Mind ရဲ့ အဓိပ္ပါယ်နဲ့ခံစားချက်တွေကို ရှိသမျှအားကုန်ထုတ်ပြီးအကောင်းဆုံးချပြချင်တဲ့အတွက် ခုလိုအချိန်သေချာယူအားထုတ်ခဲ့ကြတာပါ။

These are some of the drafts we scribbled while brainstorming ideas for the “The Monkey Mind” one-shot that will be released this coming Saturday.

Since this one-shot is a meaningful project for all members of the Monkey Mind team, everyone wanted to present something different from our usual style in terms of style, something with a unique flavor, craftsmanship, and atmosphere. We also wanted it to feel like a tribute to Myanmar cartoons and comics, so we aimed for a classical style.

For S.A.M and MKP, who handled the storyboards, it became quite a challenge.
And for Nova, who worked on the inking and visuals, it also pushed him out of his comfort zone because he had to experiment with styles different from what he usually draws, especially with environment-focused pages.

Most importantly, both the writer and the whole team wanted to put their full effort into this comic so that readers could truly feel the meaning and emotions behind Monkey Mind. That’s why we took the time and effort to carefully craft it like this.

This one-shot, created through many challenges and careful work, will be released on the Monkey Mind page this coming Saturday.

ဒီကြားထဲ အချိန်အတော်ကြာ ပျောက်နေတယ်ဆိုတာကလည်း ဒီအပုဒ်လေးကို (MonkeyMind ရဲ့ ထုံးစံအတိုင်း) qualityကောင်းကောင်းနဲ့ ချပြချင်တာရယ်၊ Artistတွေဘက်က ကွဲထွက်တဲ့ တင်ဆက်မှုပုံစံနဲ့ သေချာရေးဆွဲနေကြတာရယ်...
MonkeyMindကို တည်ထောင်ရတဲ့ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်၊ အနက်အဓိပ္ပါယ်တစ်ခုကို အမှတ်တရအဖြစ် ဖန်တီးချင်ခဲ့တာရော ( Nova ပေရှည်နေတာကြောင့်လည်း ပါတာပေါ့ )
ဒီလိုအကြောင်းပေါင်းစုံကြောင့် အချိန်တော်တော်ယူဖြစ်သွားတယ်ပဲ ဆိုပါတော့။
အဲဒါကြောင့် ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ ပေါင်းချုပ်အတွက်လည်း ခေါင်းစီးဖြစ်လာမဲ့ “The Monkey Mind '' one shotကို လာမယ့်အပတ်မှာ အကောင်းဆုံး တင်ဆက်ပေးသွားမှာမို့ စောင့်မျှော်ဖတ်ရှုပေးကြပါဦးဗျ... ။

Next Saturday, Monkey Mind will be returning to our readers with a brand-new one-shot story.
The reason we’ve been quiet for some time is because we wanted to present this piece with high quality (as is the Monkey Mind way), and also because our artists have been carefully working on it with a unique and distinctive presentation style.
Another reason is that we wanted to create something memorable that reflects the purpose and meaning behind founding our band (Also because Nova has been running for quite a long time). For all these reasons combined, it ended up taking quite a while.
So, please look forward to “The Monkey Mind” one-shot, which will also serve as the title piece for our Anthology album. We’ll be presenting it at its best next week, and we hope you’ll be there to read it.
