Recycling and Art must "work" together. The artist in this work « Stop Waste » uses used and destroyed Coca-Cola cans, which he transforms to present us with a symbolic work. Ecology, recycling, planet, Art, Future, these words must not be dissociated but must be rethought. As my former professor at the Faculty of Biology in Marseille and Arles (France) would say, "you have to find a balance between the activity and the environment".

The "Virtual Watch Manufacture" project is a digital creation inspired by Haute Horlogerie and luxury watches manufacturing, allowing the viewer to dive into the mechanical structure unveiling an unknown exploded view of internal parts used by watchmakers to create mythic and complicated timepieces. The artistic
touch was intended to show on a 360° movement the virtual sculpture floating in a zero gravity space.

into a physical artpiece, it took more than 12 months to create a real sculpture presented in 2021. The main body and bracelet is cast in metal by lost wax technic, soldered, hand polished and coated by an electroplated layer of palladium or gold, instead the small pieces of the movement are hand assembled and soldered one by one to the main structure. The bezel of 80 mm is milled in solid stainless steel or titanium. Due to the important number of parts involved in the sculpture, many technical aspects had to be solved to render the spirit and the shape fluidity of the original design.

This sculpture is in platinium.

An artwork with open Flash technic.
The moment and color. Freeze this short precise moment, this nanosecond that seduces: this invisible that I want to make visible. Patience is the rule.

For this, the artist deviates from the traditional photographic shooting system and uses the Open Flash technique. The eye perceives the object, colors and flashes independently. We can no longer focus our attention, which makes us wonder about the rendering: Is it real or digital? How did we get this result? Is it photo editing using a famous software? The answer comes from lighting, the real secret of this photographic technique which blurs the visual perception of the work.
