Covid-19: Important information for Monaco

From tomorrow, Saturday 24 July 2021, the wearing of a mask will become compulsory throughout Monaco for everyone aged five and over.

As of next Monday 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, May 31st, the curfew will be shortened in the Principality and will be effective 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟏 𝐩.𝐦. 𝐭𝐨 𝟔 𝐚𝐦 (instead of current hours of 10 pm to 6 am).

The rules to access restaurants in Monaco is not changing for the moment: to have lunch or dinner in an establishment of the Principality, you must be a resident, employee or hotel (or yacht) guest.

A few more establishments should become accessible again from this date (Casinos...).

The ghost village of Occi, 8 km from Calvi.

Nested on a plateau, the village lies at 377 meters altitude and can be reached only on foot, 20 min walk on a charming path.

The village was mentioned for the first time in 1589 but is is thought to have been established in the 14th century.
It fell into ruins after it was deserted during the 19h century when the village’s water supply dried up. There remains a moving testimony of the life of the Corsican in the old days.

The panoramic views on the sea is simply breath-taking !
