To create is to remember. 🧵✨
Through , memory becomes material.
Using tarz zemmouri embroidery, women translate their lived experiences into a layered, hand-stitched postcard of Azemmour.
Flowers, streets, walls, water — every detail is intentional.
Not to idealize the city, but to preserve what it once was, and what it still means to those who carry it within them.
This map is not just a representation.
It is an act of transmission, care, and resistance —
a way of keeping a city alive through women’s hands and stories.
Because when cities fade, memories don’t — they are stitched back into being.

Cities are not just places — they are stories.
🧵 tells Azemmour's story through hand-embroidered maps, seen through the eyes of the women who live them.
Each stitch carries memory, identity, and belonging.
Each map becomes a way to reclaim the city of Azemmour, connect people, and celebrate women’s craftsmanship.
This is how cities speak — softly, beautifully, and collectively.
