There are some things you don’t really understand when you look at Morocco with rushed eyes.

Full cafĆ©s, families outside, people sitting for hours, conversations that go on and on…

Some people see it as a waste of time.

Others see it as a kind of richness.

Because deep down, living better doesn’t always mean doing more, going out more, buying more, or filling every minute.

Sometimes, it also means knowing how to slow down without feeling guilty.

And that may be one of the hardest things to understand when you come from a country where everything moves fast.

What do you think?

In Morocco, is this way of living time a strength… or a weakness?

Healthcare is often one of the first concerns people have when thinking about Morocco.

This new reform aims to strengthen public hospitals by bringing in new specialist doctors and assigning them more quickly after graduation.

But beyond the announcements, the real question is simple:

What do you think is missing the most in Morocco’s healthcare system today?

More doctors?
More resources?
Better organization?
Or something else?

I’m curious to read your experiences, whether you live in Morocco or abroad.

Morocco in summer. Overpriced tourist trap or still worth it?

Most people come back saying the same thing: "It cost me way more than I expected."

Not because Morocco is expensive because they didn't prepare.
Flights, accommodation, car rental, food...

Every category has a smart way to play it and a tourist trap version.
This carousel breaks it down, category by category.

Is Morocco more expensive than Spain for a summer trip?

Drop your honest answer in the comments šŸ‘‡

I read every single one.

Nador is a city we may need to start looking at differently.

For a long time, many people have associated it with summer, the return of the diaspora, the sea, the Rif, and holiday memories… and of course, all of that is part of its identity.

But Nador is also a city with a strategic location, strong local energy, a population deeply attached to its region, and an economic potential that could become much more important in the coming years.

The real question now is not just whether there are big projects.

It’s whether these projects will create a real dynamic around the city: more opportunities, more jobs, more activity for young people, families, and local entrepreneurs.

Because a city doesn’t grow only through infrastructure.

It grows when its people truly feel the impact in their daily lives.

Nador has a real card to play.

Real estate in Morocco is attracting more and more Moroccans living abroad, expats and investors.

But when you live far from the country, a simple signature can sometimes become a real matter of trust.

This new measure around powers of attorney is a step toward a clearer, more controlled and more reassuring real estate market.

It’s not a magic guarantee, but it is a real move toward more security.

Tag someone who has a real estate project in Morocco or is planning to give someone power of attorney this summer.

In Morocco, some everyday phrases are not just words.

When someone says ā€œAllah yhafdekā€, they are not just being polite.

They are asking Allah to protect you.

And that is what makes Darija so beautiful:
it is not only used to communicate, it is also used to show respect, affection, and make du’a for others.

You can hear it from a mother, a grandmother, a shopkeeper, a neighbor, or simply someone who wishes you well.

Learning Darija is not just about learning a language.
It is also about discovering a way of speaking to people, showing respect, and understanding the heart of Morocco.

That is exactly the spirit behind MoroLingo: learning Darija and Amazigh through real everyday Moroccan phrases.

What is the most beautiful Moroccan expression you know?

Before buying real estate in Morocco, don’t just look at the price.

A residence can feel quiet at 10 a.m. during the visit… and become a very different place in the evening or on weekends.

Poor building management, noise problems, unclear fees, incomplete land title, unclear land status, unauthorized construction… some mistakes are not obvious at first sight, but they can cost a lot after you sign.

Before buying property in Morocco, make sure you check the key points: apartment, house, land, developer, building management, profitability, notary fees, and how to get the 100,000 DH or 70,000 DH housing support.

Would you rather invest in residential property or a commercial unit in Morocco? And why?

Morocco is a dream for many people.

And honestly, I understand why.

But sometimes, we love the idea of Morocco so much that we forget one thing: living here requires real adaptation.

It’s not just about the sun, family, tea, tagines, the sea, and summer memories.

It’s also a daily life you have to build:

A different rhythm.
Different codes.
Different ways of communicating.
Different unexpected situations.
And sometimes, a reality very different from what you imagined.

Morocco can offer a lot to those who come with a clear project, patience, and humility.

But it can also become exhausting for those who only come to compare or to recreate an extended version of their holidays.

This is not meant to discourage anyone.

It’s exactly because Morocco deserves better than a fantasy.

Loving a country also means being ready to live it in its reality.

In your opinion, what is the number one quality needed to successfully settle in Morocco?
