A creative journey ...
Forced into lockdown during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic and having to find alternative means to keep sane (and not resorting to baking endless batches of banana bread), EK.Kreativ was born.
I believe God puts certain desires in one’s heart that aligns with His plans for you. So, during isolation and not being able to do ‘business as usual’, the phrase “You were created to create” kept resonating from somewhere. I started embracing some creative outlets, and a new creative journey began.
Apart from bucket-loads of uncertainty and self-doubt (you know, the usual mind hurdles), I’m excited to follow my artist’s heart and see where this journey leads to.
Exodus 35:35 - “He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiders in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers - all of them skilled workers and designers.”
