A big thank you goes to AlpAccess from Romania, who have been supporting ScaffChamp powered by Layher for three years.

And although Vera Taran wasn’t part of their support team this year, I was!

Well done, keep it up, gain experience and keep winning!

If I ever want to move away from Lithuania, I’ll move to Ireland, because I know everyone there!

Thanks once again to LOETB National Construction Training Campus , Layher Ireland and, of course, the Skyline Scaffolding team for taking part and for giving young people the chance to grow professionally!

The next three teams and this round-up begin with my best friends from Spain – Air Tek Group .

I met them whilst sitting in a restaurant as they were walking past. We got to know each other better inside, because a proper scaffolder wouldn’t let another one walk past without a chat and beer.

They’re brilliant, open-minded lads and true professionals, but they need to chat more often with Layher Ibérica – especially with Twixbeam and the Keder XL roofs!

So we’ll be waiting for them in 2027.

I particularly liked the Spanish flags on their vehicles!

A year ago, it became clear that the Greeks would be competing in the 2026 ScaffChamp powered by Layher !

A group of young lads are sitting next to me, speaking French. I ask where they’re from, and one of them replies in English: ‘Canada, Quebec!’ I invite them to ScaffChamp powered by Layher , just as spectators.

When registration opens, they submit an entry form! Thank you, Groupe Vermeren Inc. Thank you Canada! The first Canadian team made their mark; they were professional. I hope you’ve caught the ScaffChamp spirit, know what to expect from it, and will take the world by storm in 2027.
