An article that sums up what "Lapsa" stands for, what we do and who we are.

And we are very lucky and happy that even when we can't travel ourselves our purses, backpacks and bags travel all around the world.

There is so much more work to do, but at least we have a web now and an upcoming e-shop there. It is very basic, but you can find it on www.lapsa.lt . Small steps at the time, but always further.

MATERIALS:

We have a crush on Lithuanian linen because Lapsastudo is based in Lithuania and it close to our identity as well as our values.
Lithuania has more than 5,000 years old tradition of making linen fabric out of . There are even some folk songs about flex and .
The fabric that we use is made in Lithuania, in the company that has been doing that for more than 60 years. The fabric has Oeko-Tex Standart 100 certification (is tested for harmful substances).

And the linen itself has some wonderful properties:

- it is strong, sturdy and stable;
- it is one of the most environmentally friendly fibers;
- it has some cooling properties;
- is breathable;
- has antibacterial and anti-fungus properties;
- garments from good linen are very durable.
