Today marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Abuse, a global campaign to raise awareness and take action to end all forms of violence and abuse. At NULPSA, we stand firmly against all forms of abuse and violence.

Theme: “Unite! Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls.”

We also stand in solidarity with students who are victims of abuse. You are not alone, and we send you love, strength, and warm hugs during this time. 💙

Let us:

• Speak out against abuse in all its forms.

📢🌍 World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (WAAW) 2024: Day 4

🗓 Theme: Educate. Advocate. Act now.
📅 Focus for Day 4: Prevent Infections – Break the Chain of Resistance

🦠 Prevention is better than cure, especially in the fight against AMR. Here’s how we can stop infections before they start:

• 🧼 Practice good hygiene: Regular handwashing is your first line of defense.
• 💉 Get vaccinated: Vaccines reduce the need for antibiotics by preventing infections.
• 🛡 Prevent hospital-acquired infections: Follow infection control measures like sterilization and proper waste disposal.
• 🌍 Promote sanitation: Advocate for clean water, sanitation, and safe food practices in your community.

💬 Today’s Action: Share one infection prevention tip with someone outside the group. Together, we can reduce the need for antibiotics and slow down resistance.

Let’s break the chain of resistance by stopping infections at their source! Let’s go blue 🟦💙🔵🔷
