There is still time for you to sign up for our annual, flagship training program, the eMarket Readiness Program! It's scary to try something new, but hearing from someone who has gone through the program can help! Below, let's see what 2018 MRP Alumna Mantai Mpesi has to say:
"For me, for any export ready artisan, there is no better course or program than the eMRP, a program that guides you from the very 1st step of developing a product, pricing it properly, packaging & marketing it until it reaches the client. And having an opportunity to talk directly with US buyers and asking them any questions stood out for me. We get inspired in many ways. I don't make products, but I couldn't stop thinking about restructuring my business and apply what I have learnt as well as sharing with my suppliers to position ourselves well to compete globally."

Did you know that wool and mohair are key value chains in Lesotho? Wool is the country's top export and mohair is the fifth. Of the 48 artisans interviewed for the “Value Chain Mapping for Key Products in Lesotho’s Creative Industries" Report, 96% of them are women who are 60+ years old.
By upgrading local activities, such as land management, shearing and herding, while also digitizing effective tracking and data management this sector could avoid bottlenecks in the value chain, giving the women in this sector an opportunity to grow.
To learn more, take a look at the “Value Chain Mapping for Key Products in Lesotho’s Creative Industries" Report created in collaboration with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
