As we wrap up 2022. It has been such a wonderful year, we learnt a lot, we grew and achieved more. We've got to see SANTA, not only that but we sat on his lap, and he pampered us with gifts. It takes a team of great builders to build a house. Team Blue and Team Red did it again. Our 1 month (November) housing project is now complete. Creativity is our middle name.
As we built, we braced the third language we are learning "FRENCH", we now know colours in Sesotho, English and French. "Les équipes bien faites"

All materials used here are recycled material. One important objective of our project was: To come up with something nice with Zero (0) costs, and we achieved it, we used what is readily available. "One man's trash is another man's treasure"

Having to watch the baby developing from one stage to another, what a heart melting thing. Our 9 months old princess Khanya (La luz) stands on her own. BRAVO!!

Potty training should be this fun,😊😍. She is 27 months old and just started potty training. She really enjoyed putting those smiley stickers everytime she used the potty.

POTTY and SELF-FEEDING trainings are easier at the Nursery School than at home. Toddlers imitate everything around them, they learn much from observing what others do. Let us walk this journey of developing your little one together.

The best way to encourage young kids to be interested and actually like "WRITING" is;
1) The use of colourful papers and colourful pens. With these people, colour really matters, and they should be given an opportunity to "CHOOSE" the colour.
2) The use of rewards, you know those small smilly stickers really matters to them. They should also choose their preferred stickers.

Giving young people opportunities to make choices doesn't really mean you are spoiling them, it simply build their confidence and encouraging decision making from the youngest age.

My name is Princess Blessing (Dr Mokhachane). I'm 21 months old. I was only 7 weeks(almost 2months) when i join this exciting group. I was the youngest ever to join La Luz Nursery School, I'm still holding that record. I don't know any other environment besides being at school. Potty training season😍 is right here. Potty training is 10 times easier at Nursery School than at home. Reason being, toddlers imitate everything around them, so they learn best from each other. However, we all have to abide by potty training rules to get it right.

These are some of the potty training rules we follow: 1) Wait until the child is ready.

Our Bambino group. At this stage they grab everything at their reach and this shows they are active and that proves they are pretty well mentally and physically. At this moment, we should be EXTRA CAREFUL what we put around them. We are the LIGHT.

By the way, we are currently out of space for this age group (under 2 years), we take a maximum of six (6) kids and we have six of them. We dont want to compromise their attention and well being . We will give updates when there is a space.
